Help!

Howdy,

I have a T610 and tonight I switched my phone on and up popped a message saying "Free Ringtones!" so I thought nothing of it and closed it. Then, on the bar at the top, the unread txt message icon appears ( envelope) with a small "w" (think of the @ symbol but a "w") over it. I can't get rid of it, and what is it?

Cheers.

I've had these. It is a WAP push message/advert.
If you don't want to be bothered by them, go to Messaging, scroll down to WAP push, select it, scroll to Allow push, select it , scroll to Never, and select it.
Then (still in WAP push). go to Clear inbox and click YES.
Don't select Inbox, or you might end up being charged for a ringtone you don't want.
Good luck!
