Is there a pairing button you have to press on the router? If that isn't the problem..
...there's some instructions here that might help- http://kotaku.com/5961600/if-your-wi...res-what-to-do |

Didnt work for me, until I did the above. (Virgin Media Super Hub)
Once I manually put in IP and DNS worked fine

Is the issue just with virgin or with all ISP's, my friend got one and has not set it up yet, she is on BT broadband homehub.

I buy pass the super hub and turn the wireless off as it glows purple I then have it linked to a TP link router as the wireless output is better just hope it connects OK later when I set it up

Used the instructions suggested by Callous and everythings up and running. Was a bit apprehensive as i dont know much about computers but wasnt hard at all. Still think people shouldnt have to go through this though to get online. Probably be a few sad faces on chtistmas morning. Good job i decided to get this set up for my son before then.

Follow the instructions and you should be fine. You are not changing any settings on your computer just copying what it says there onto the gamepad. Everything will remain the same with your connection and your pc. Only change will be settings on the gamepad.

Will a USB Lan Converter work with a vable running to the modem.
The problem I have is the WiiU is downstairs the computer is up! Found my IP address it is the last bit is **.***.**.221.96 so if I add 10 it would be what. I know it;s already been answerd but can you just confirm that NONE of this type this here type that there happens on the computer please. Rick (ever so thick!) |

Definitely seem to be a problem with Virgin. I've seen other forums complain about it too.

What a farce.
My son couldn't wait and has played on it before i could do the first install, these instructions hopefully are working. It's downloading, having restarted a couple of times. I miss the SNES.

just if anyone is interested here is the page to put the superhub into a modem mode then get yourself a better router like I have done, then you can by pass the trouble above.

Just done the cnd thing and Wii U found the modem and...
Can't conect to the internet as the signal from the modem is too poor ![]() Still found a Lan Converter on ebay for £2 including delivery, better that than no conection at all. |

I honestly don't know what to put it down to since my PS3 and 360 have good download speeds through ethernet cables...
