I find it funny that people are thinking it's Kiki what got Charlie this far and to hear them talk you would think they have banged on about it since day 1 when in fact it only happened a few days ago.

I would like to point out that I actually want Ash to win I just think the Charlie-Kiki stuff is funny

Eastenders probably put her in the lead from the beginning.

Indeed... in fact as a vocal few are so sure that its a stunt to get her votes (a very blatant stunt apparently) , one would think that it would work against her not for her.

Its all rubbish of course, people just vote on what they see.

Charlie and Ash have been great, they've got stuck in, been fun and nice and they get along great.

I think it's fair to say that a small number of votes came from EE fans just as Ash will have got votes from PCD fans David from boxing fans Eric from darts fans ect

I know for a fact Doctor who fans were voting for Colin

This exactly. Charlie is a nice girl and to be honest - I don't think Ashley really cares if she wins or not now (a non-UK entrant has never go this far). Ashley obviously deserves to win - but I don't think she can hold off the might of the Eastenders and the stupidly insane 'we must have a Brit win' vote.

Even so - when Charlie wins - it won't make a difference to her - she'll be no worse or better off / less known or better known than she was before. EVERYONE will remember Ashley - even as a runner-up ... just as David Gest is the best remembered American!

It's not about evidence, just common sense. Of course she was going into the show with an advantage - Being a soap star means people feel so familiar with you already. Not discounting Charlie, I think people have really taken to her and the whole Kiki story.

Agreed. People on my twitter feed have supported Charlie from even before the launch show, simply because of Eastenders.

If Charlie wins I hope it's not because of the Kiki factor. I did feel it was 3+1 in the show tonight.

and yet the evidence suggest otherwise.

But you have no interest in evidence, just what you think.

Ok

big soap characters nearly always get far in reality shows unless they're really boring or useless in the particular show

Kiki will also gain votes from the Hector's House fans

ITV own goal giving Eastenders a huge, plug. Silly billies.

Present me the evidence then, it's a TV show we can't analyses the voting figures just use our common sense to try and understand them.

Kiki may as well have been a contestant

her name seems to have been brought up on quite a few threads on the first page

That's what I don't get I didn't even know about the girl until the door trial .

If Kiki is the only reason people would vote for her then by that right she should have been out the first few days

I don't think people are saying Charlie is in the final just because of Kiki, afterall she's a nice person and is liked by her campmates. I think people are saying missing a young child creates sympathy, air time and the whole story of not getting to phone her, then not seeing her behind the yellow door, then finally getting a call is a pretty good vote winner.

Some are saying they are fed up of hearing Charlie go on and on and on about Kiki and she is only doing it to get votes it's more to hear some talk you would think Charlie has done nothing but talk about her since day one when in fact at most it's only been 3 maybe 4 days

The problem is at day 1, with more people in camp we saw less of Charlie anyway. The problem is as more people have left a lot of Charlie's airtime has been about Kiki

In the same vein I have seen posts saying they dislike her simply because of Eastenders.

I haven`t watched any soap for years so can only judge her by IAC and like her.

So pleased to see a female final and good luck to both

To be fair, whilst Helen hogged the airtime, other campmates did comment that Charlie was missing her daughter so she was saying but it just wasn't being aired.

I don't think Charlie's using her daughter for airtime at all, it's just natural that as the number of camp mates get lower we see more of Charlie and the stuff we've seen is about Kiki.

But Kiki isn't part of the show. If Charlie is missing her daugher to that extent, then she should have gone home. Most contestants that have gone in there have had children but most don't bang on about it - most parents accept that other people are not going to be as dotty about your children as you are.

If I missed my children that much and worried about if they were okay, no amount of money would keep me away from them and I would happily break any contract to be back with them.

I agree. I cant understand how anybody could leave their child for that length of time, bearing in mind that Charlie has been away about four weeks now. I would never put money or my fame above my child. Im afraid I dont have any sympathy for her as she must have known what she had let herself in for.
