I think if Charlie wins she will be one of the most undeserving winners ever; I think it's a Kiki sympathy vote. The scene behind the door was cute yes but does it really deserve all the real characters being voted out?

Why is it a Kiki sympathy vote? She only appeared for about 5 mins. Hardly took up a lot of airtime!

'Sympathy vote' always means 'someone I don't support may be doing better than someone I do'. It is one of a whole range of weapons in the battle to contrive a 'real winner' in case. Others are 'betting scam', 'tweenies vote', 'menopausal housewives' vote' and 'fix'.
Some of the stuff written on here about Charlie is ridiculous. But then again, its DS. I shouldn't expect anything different to be honest! |

I detest Charlie's character on EE and I love seeing that she is nothing like that. She comes across as a lovely down to earth woman who clearly loves her child. I think she may have been more popular and liked if she was one of the 'bikini babes' however I admire the fact that she has not resorted to this. She is an excellent actress out of EE she had a small part in the BBC's Bleak House and her character reduced me to tears.

There's a couple of stones worth of reasons why she hasn't 'resorted' to this tbh.

Ever since the latest Glee, whenever I see or hear Kiki, I start singing "Let's have a kiki" in my head.

Judging from this forum having a child works against you, what you need is a pretty face, good figure, be desperate to be known in the UK, plus a production team prepared to give you more air time than the other contestants.......Charlie has nothing to offer ITV she's tied to Eastenders....... Ashley Roberts will be a far better scoop for them, and people have fallen for it

I never watch Eastenders, had no idea who Charlie was before the show started, liked her before the whole Kiki behind the door saga and still like her now.
Maybe some people are just seeing a genuine, likable young woman? ![]() Quote:
There are 3 reasons why Charlie will probably win:
1. Eastenders 2. Kiki 3. Being British 2. Loved Charlie before I was familiar with her daughter - or that she even had one. 3. Not British. ![]() Quote:

If we keep complaining about Kiki then the tabloids may see this and print a story about it. Quote:
JUNGLE QUEEN CHARLIE'S INTERNET HELL Ex-Eastenders star's anguish as vile internet trolls post cruel taunts about daughter
I would feel a bit bad.

Cruel taunts about her daughter ?? Not at all ! The programme's use of her daughter you mean ? Has anyone on here said anything personal about the little girl herself ? I haven't seen it. If there is some then there shouldn't be but the posts I've read have objected to how Kiki was put into the programme.

I actually almost reported that one. It's quite sad that the ONLY thing the little boys slavering all over Ashley could come up with to scupper the competition was to bang on and on and on and ON about Charlie's daughter - who she loves. Thankfully, it didn't work. |

Oh, I don't know, there was a real beaut on the show highlights thread when Kiki ran on set. It went 'There IT is'.

Maybe all the little girls were getting jealous that a sexy woman was getting attention and sided with Charlie.
Or maybe that's as ridiculous as your comment that only posters who fancy Ashley were the ones annoyed about the Kiki references. But the 'you is jellus innit' argument is laughably predictable. I haven't seen that one for a couple of days.

And I'm fed up hearing references to Kiki....she had NOTHING to do with the votes...people voted for Charlie because they liked her! No consipiracy theory. No evil plan. |

It really isn't, you know. The thread has been littered with posts confirming that posters fancy her, will be dreaming of her etc. etc. ad infinitum. There's clear evidence of this all over the board.
But the 'you is jellus innit' argument is laughably predictable. I haven't seen that one for a couple of days. ![]() Thought that was obvious,... Obviously not to you though. Always nice to see the laugh smiley mind.. Quote:

I met Charlie at the Ideal Home Show about 3 years ago with my daughter, I quietly went up to her and said hello, praised her on her current storyline and we went on our merry way, but we were so disappointed. Charlie was sullen, no smile at all, just this awe of 'look but don't touch' about her.' We went off her at that point. Yes, before anyone says, I know she was at the show and probably wanted to go about her business not being interrupted, but we deliberately made it a quick hello for that reason and at least expected a smile. Another reason why I didn't want her to win - the main one being that Ashley was in every way a lovelier person.

I quite clearly read the point you were making. Did you read this bit: The thread has been littered with posts confirming that posters fancy her. Do you think that's true, or not? And if you admit that it is true (because it is - I'll go and find them later if you want); why is my point that people voted for her because they fancied her 'ridiculous'?

So your argument was about the posts on here to do with Charlies' daughter. Voting wasn't mentioned. Not a lot of point debating with someone who forgets what their point is. |

The people voting for Ashley because they fancied her wanted to scupper the competition. It's quite simple, really.
