There was no sign of his wife in Oz. Did he mention his wife and son the whole time he was in there?

I wondered about that too.
I think he is married because comments were made on here about Jordan making drooling remarks about him on twitter & how inappropriate it was since he is a married man.
And yet ,it was his mum behind the door in that task.
Maybe she is just shy.

He likes to keep his family out of the public eye. He's got two kids, never ever seen a picture of either and I'm a pretty big fan of the Hayemaker. I've seen his wife ringside at his fights a couple of times but they are very rarely photographed together. I've never seen her interviewed about David ever.

He is very loved up, but very protective of his family, doesn't want the children photographed.

Yes, I understand wanting to keep his family out of the public eye, but I would have thought he'd have said, I'm missing my wife/children at some point.

Maybe he did but it didn't make the final edit.

I didn't say he hadn't, I said earlier I hadn't heard him say anything about his family Considering we heard most of the other contestants speak of their families at some point........he is the only one I didn't hear speak of his family.

As far as I know, he only has the one child, a boy who is probably around 4 and a half. We were staying in the same hotel as David, his wife and their son 3 years ago and their boy was then around 18 months old, still in a high chair anyway when eating.

I think he just wants that side of his life kept private but I agree, no mention of them in any edit is a bit odd, even if it's just 'I miss my wife & son' would have sufficed, especially given all the fuss around Charlie & her daughter......

I think it's pretty admirable that he is trying to keep his wife and young kids out of the public eye tbh.

Could it be because his son is at school age and therefore is at home for school, As some school may not have let his son have time off for something like this.

I must get with the zeitgeist more, i didn't know he was married let along a nipper.
