What is it about Mark Wright that makes him so unlikable outside the jungle?

Seemed like a decent guy when he was in there, but every time I've seen him before he went in or since he left he's made my skin crawl.

Agreed - it's a challenge entertainment show so the winner should be the person whose performed the best - it's not the Olympics or Eurovision for goodness sake. Some people really need to get a grip. Why have they turned it into and us v them situation?

Charlie, from what I've seen on the show, isn't a particularly bubbly, bright personality and was happy to sit back and not do trials unless she absolutely had to. Most of her words (that were aired) were certainly not fun loving. She is just meh.

If she wins, I will feel disappointed that the British can judge a person on where they were born rather than if they did well throughout the whole show.

I really hope Ashley has this in the bag as she deserves it the most (and David shouldn't have left before Charlie either).

Your first comment is wholly untrue - many countries feel patriotic but don't go to war over it. It is only the English that are told that being patriotic is akin to displaying xenophobia.

Patriotism is a good thing if you are proud of your country and your country is performing against another country in some skill based test - then you should root for your country to win.

IAC is not a contest between nations, it's a contest between individuals - I feel saddened that people have brought Ashley's nationality into it and are using that as a reason to vote for a very inferior campmate.

Having said that - Charlie is a nice enough girl (boring but nice).”

Very well said sheila - can you imagine what the whole series was like if everyone had been like Charlie? Still, crying and whining seems to be a winning formula for many viewers.

Jos Swash, Unfunny Comedian we will never see again, messy NI girl, crew on happy pills - my advice is don't watch the programme. It's crap

Haven't watched it for a few years now as it has to be one of the worst spin-off shows going for most of the reasons you have give (I could add a few more but can't be bothered - it's just a crap show)

Serious laugh out loud here! There was a thread in which people were asked about their favorite quotes this series. And there were some good ones:

"...twig..."
"Ver ver..."
"...milkshakes..."
But! This is my favorite line of the series! I haven't even read the rest of your post... I hope it continues to be as funny.

Thanks.

I've noticed this about him, too. Was he putting it on in the jungle? Must've been.

Same here. Wasn't Ashley the only one who wasn't in the bottom two each day of the vote outs? That says loads, right there.

Side question: Did each person on the panel say that they'd like Charlie to win? I thought that only Mark said that...

Crikey, you're easily pleased. If you want to get under my skin and make me feel awkward about my comment, you'll have to up your game - otherwise, water off a duck's back

Sorry sophiae, I didn't watch the show (a lot of Mark Wright's of one variation or another on it) but it doesn't surprise me that the 'Charlie should win because she's British' is being touted - apparently, getting stuck in and having a go isn't important if you want to win IAC and future contestants should take note of that when it comes to trials and/or being entertaining

Very true. I'm not surprised by it, either, honestly.

As much as I love both of them, Ashley has just been more consistent than anyone else, in my opinion. We've seen Charlie talk behind someone's back. I know there is a lot we haven't seen, but Ashley has never been portrayed negatively and it could easily have been done since she is the relatively unknown here. If I had my way, It'd be David and Ashley, since they both came across the best.

Gino Dicampo (sp?) won his year and he is Italian. Hopefully the GB public will vote for who they think deserves it and not just based on the individual's nationality.

I think people worry too much lol.

For our house it's provided a great source of entertainment during an incredibly stressful time for our family. That'll do me

I don't care who wins now. I Like them both. I'll probably tip a vote Charlies way because she makes us smile most but won't be pulling my hair out if she doesn't win.

I will say it's interesting, and both girls must have something about them because everyone in my home (there is a lot of us) all feel the same, when usually we have our own clear faves.

I agree completely - and if fairness ruled the day, that would be scene that was set for tonight's programme. We'll just have to root for Ashley sophiae
