Kitty voted for herself last year. And do you really think David Cameron goes into the polling booth to vote for the Labour candidate?

Someone voting for themselves is not going to be the sole reason they are staying in the contest. If Chris is voting for himself, then it'll only make up a very small fraction of the votes cast for him. He's probably getting enough already to stay in the contest every week.

Unfortunately I don't think voting for yourself is against any rules.

Don't we just hate it when the public doesn't vote for the acts we want them to vote for.

The show has been a joke for years. watch it as light entertainment and don't take it seriously would be my advice

Exactly, that's the joke. Non-Christopher fans probably don't need this explaining to them.

But it doesn't matter because the joke is on Christopher's fans, since they are the ones paying to vote for him.

A joke naff enough to be worthy of Liverpool, a town that since the 60s has been producing mediocre acts who make it big simply because they are riding on the back of the Beatles (an act who actually were quite good, but do any of them live in Liverpool now???). Clearly Liverpool still wants to produce mediocre acts who make it big on the strength of simply being from LIverpool. The world will get tired of it eventually.

I'm a non Christopher fan through and through. But now, I have just given up all hope of him going. If he wins, he wins and I wish him well. I've sold my soul to the Devil saying that I know, but what the heck LOL!

This is a proper piece of advice.

X Factor isn't the singing competition it used to be in the early days, it's just another Saturday night entertainment show now.
