If we're talking about who was the 'best judge' then that would have to be Dannii, because she gave the most constructive critiques by far. Though if we're talking about favourites in terms of popularity then it would for me be Nicole or Cheryl.

Kelly Rowland, funny, bubbly, entertaining, constructive, professional.. but the media treated het like shyt.
As she always said: 'My mama taught me better than that' |

Best judge for me has been a stand in judge.....Mel B!!! Tells it straight from the start (auditions) therefore half the acts we have seen in the live shows wouldn't have been there if she had been around longer....Gary is in that same group too!!!
My Fave judge though was Kelly...seeing her last year particularly at the auditions she was fun....up to the Tuloosa/louis outburst, she gave up there and then!!! |

Louis Walsh. He's fun and hilarious, the show would be completely dull without him.

Dannii by far. Her critique's were always great, she was always completely honest and I usually found myself agreeing with whatever she said, I'd say she's the only judge who actually managed to keep her dignity by working for the show. Her connection with her acts was always great to watch as well, she seemed like such a good mentor!

Simon for (usually) honest critique and not always blindly praising his acts when they were poor.
Nicole just for entertainment factor, I always look forward to her comments and she has a great relationship with her contestants. |

Who is voting for Gary. He's probably the worst judge...

I don't have a [i]best[i/] judge, but I loved the chemistry between Louis and Sharon.

Dannii was the best judge for me, she was the most honest judge the show's had in my opinion.

C'mon the Minogue!!!! She seemed to give a damn about her acts and was supportive of acts in other categories she liked (Mary Byrne).

So supportive of Mary, she sent her home in favour of Cher Lloyd. |

Me too, the only time I liked Walsh was when Sharon was present on the panel (I'm a big Mrs O fan). I really like Nicole this year, she has been great, but I haven't voted for anyone either. |

Nice to see Dannii and Nicole winning
I also liked Kelly but after the whole 'sick' stint she never really recovered imo.Dannii was always my favourite because she cared and stayed in contact with her acts, but I have to say Nicole is level pegging with her now. Nicole has amazing chemistry and fun with all of her acts, and her song choices are often great (this is where Dannii's weakness was) |

Personally I'd choose Dannii but Simon IS The X Factor so he's the best judge by default.

Gary. He's credible (he has written HOW many hit pop songs?) and he gives genuine critique which may seem harsh but are generally intended to be useful.
He also has a really dry sense of humour which I love. "You look like you just met at a bus stop" and in regard to Rylan's comment about having a taxi waiting, "yours has been waiting for a couple of weeks" or whatever the exact wording was. I think he's very real, very authoritative - oh, and very handsome! |

Louis. He is a bitch and loves to stir it up. His cringe worthy antics make the show entertaining.

Would have said Louis but his decision to save Rylan over Carolynne was disgraceful so I went for Danni.

Dannii for me, definitely. I always thought she was completely honest and constructive with her critiques, unlike so many of the other judges we've had. It's a shame she left.
