Simon Cowell invests in Britain his group of Companies employ 1000's of British people the Record sales boost UK Business and benefits millions of us, alternatively the Band Aid bull by the time it gets to Africa is about the equivlent of 4p per cd sold after admisistration costs, Even if 4p could do anything is it not time We started looking after our own people and our own Children there is enough poverty and needy in the UK its time to look after them because the way things are going it will be us that ends up as a 3rd world Country.
That my bit for today
I would not even waste my time downloading Crap Aid for free off limewire etc

Yes Cowell has done far more good by getting Britains poor to waste their money on Westlife, Zig and Zag abd Robson and Jerome than Band Aid is doing

Lets all give Cowell more money so he can fund the next Tweenies single!

In fact if you spent some time looking at Cowells group of companies financial statements for last year they have done 10x more for charity the Both Crap Aids added together and thats in one year so yes Tweenies it would be, and last time i looked Westlife were with Louie 'Vote for the Blind' Walsh

They work together on Westlife, Louis is their manager and Simon is their record company boss, Simon doesn't actually manage any acts.

I'm not going to take this any further as the suggestion that Simon's companies raise 10x both Band Aids (what about Band Aid 2 ) is frankly ridiculous.

No not sick its reality, There is a 7 year old girl who lives round the corner to us, We have been fighting to raise enough money to get her A private organ transplant from the U.S as the NHS simply can't or wont do it in time, That is just 1 example on my doorstep this Country is spending more and more on Medical help and other services as we are flooded by Immigrants from all other Europe and as a result we are the ones who willl suffer, The truth is this Country is on the verge of economic Catosphere which could see things getting far far worse, And will the people of Ethopia or Africa make a song to raise money for us when this happens hmmmm I think we all know the answer to that one.

I hope it goes ok for that little girl
I'm at University and our society raised £500 last year for a cancer charity
lots of university societies raised similar for individual causes and RAG raise thousands each year
on a serious note I'm sure if you approach your nearest university a society would help raise money for that little girl
I will even put it forward to my committee see what we can do, good luck

Thanks Pinkfish I know Uni's are always the first to help and the money needed has almost been reached, BMG and many other companies out there also do so much that is never heard about which is why i get wound up when people say its just Simon Cowell lineing his own pockets etc. this year they have donated the use of one of there private jets on over 20 occasions to take patients and family on Operations like this, Should also say thanks to BP who in Luanne's case have donated the fuel needed to get her there.
