Every year much is made about bonding and having "made really good friends for life" as they always say.. But do they ever keep in touch and meet up after the Jungle is over and forgotton? Does Mark Wright ever keep in touch with "best friend" Dougie for instance or Joe Squash with George from star trek?

I recall reading about Matt Willis and David Gest hanging out with each other after their series. I don't know whether that friendship has faded though. Joe Swash claims to still be in contact with George Takei.

I've met George Takei. He asked me if the curry was any good and I told him it was foul and consisted mostly of half cooked carrot. We don't keep in touch, though.

Well, you can hardly blame him. Why would you tell him that? You know damned well perfect and good that the curry's delicious! This kind of selfish deceit -- because it was about: you getting Takei away from the limited supply wasn't it? -- is why no one wants to keep in touch with you any more... much less build new relationships.
