I hate to think of him scrubbed and polished and moulded into another hit making clone. It would be awful if he lost his individuality. He is my favrourite though.

I think he should probably leave tonight tbh and let bland, dull and cheesy fight it out.

I think James is destined to be the success story of this years show and he really doesn't need the win to get a deal, unlike some others.

Well said. He's way too good for this show as it stands.

He's the only one I've liked all series. Personally a win for him won't give him great chances of having the career he deserves, IMO.

Not a fan to be honest, I find him uncomfortable to watch, the same with Jarmeyne, Union J are far more watchable and feel like winners.

I really think he could be the one who breaks the curse of a bottom two winner.

He won't win because he's just not 'likeable'.

I think it's better for him not to win, Syco would just ruin him anyway...

I find those adjectives describe James perfectly.

I don't understand why James is seen as the golden boy by some people, his vocals are shocking.

I hope he wins, if only to prove that male winners can actually do well on the X Factor. They have never had a male contestant like James, and to me he is the real deal. If you've got it, you've got it regardless of where you got your break. He will do well.

ETA: I also don't think he will be all scrubbed and polished, he will work with the right people.

shockingly good. typical of tone deaf individuals to miss it though, for obvious reasons apart from being blind and dumb.

The show is not called "The Voice", we all know what happened to the winner of that show (or maybe we don't). It's called the X Factor for a reason.

Tone deaf AND blind and dumb? Oh dear, not a good day for me then!

Funnily enough, I know what the show is called. The X Factor has an 'X' as it's open to interpretation. For me, the X is not "oh look at how original I am"; I couldn't give a toss about originality... Geraldine McQueen is original.

How is James 'cheesy'?
His obsession with being original I find to be cheesy.

As opposed to who ?
His vocals are shocking as opposed to someone like Jaymi from Union J.

Sorry to be so controversial.

Is he the one that wasn't considered vocally strong enough to go through as an individual ? And since when did controversial mean the same as being tone deaf !

Nope, that's George that failed to get through solo. I guess not being good with names is one of your flaws... the other favouring terrible acts on The X Factor.

Are we not allowed to favour whoever we like? How boring it would be if we all liked the same act. That really would be the end if the X Factor.

"Initially rejected for judges’ houses, Triple J got lucky after Rough Copy had to quit the competition, allowing them to go through to the Final 24".
