Defamation of character

Sharon is still peddling her comments ... so you lawyers out there - can she do this without getting sued for defamation of character - particularly if it affects Steve's earning potential.

The only way it will affect his earning potential is upwards! Simon will be rubbing his hands at all this extra publicity, X Factor was not a massive success ratings wise but all this post show controversy can only help sell more singles, ultimately for all act, but for now Steve will benefit hugely.

Also, for it to be defamation of character it would have to be true - most of the stroy seems to be remarkably similar from both Steve, Sharon and neutral camps. The only grey area is if the PA was punched or accidentaly pushed, only Steve will know if he meant it or not.

Steve says he felt a hand on the back of his head . It was the PA pushing him and being abusive to him.
