Just out of interest ...
When I got this months copy of FHM (just for the yearly calendar. Honest! ), there's a big splash page for Ms Flanagan advertising the next issue.

I quote directly;
"A worldwide exclusive. Queen of the Jungle. Helen Flanagan wishes you a sexy New Year. Her first EVER cover shoot"

I shall keep my opinions to myself (for a change).
Apart from pointing out that she obviously did the shoot before she went into the jungle, and this is probably all part of a subsequent media blitz.

Can't blame her I suppose, but I'll keep my money in my pocket and give it a miss ...

I'll hold out for an edition with Ashley in it, ta very much!

Helen is not sexy. Too skinny. Has too many weird expressions on a too sharp face.

She is not Queen of the Jungle .Were they expecting her to be ?

Back to what she knows I suppose. You could see when she got her boobs out in the leopard bra and pouted with the red lipstick on that that was her trump card, it was all that she had to offer, and when it didn't work she was bewildered.

Also...Um..trying to tread carefully her but, I'll put it this way...She's a sweet girl, pretty with a nice figure, but having watched Helen in IAC she's still so immature that it's odd to see her as a 'sexy' pin up.

Helen's thunder has been 100% taken by Ashley, and not in a nasty way, either.

While Helen was flashing her boobs, showering and pouting, Ashley was quietly endearing herself to the audience - and the audience found out compared to the wanna-be sexpot (Helen), Ashley was nicer, funnier, more intelligent, kinder, better looking and sexier too.

Game set and match, really.

Shock horror! minor celebs go on IAC in order to get exposure and make a bit of a cash.

Helen"s supporters denied she was playing up to the cameras with the posing & pouting. Yeah right!

Queen Of The Jungle!!!

Further proves she was acting up in a desperate attempt to win. No wonder she had such a breakdown when she came out. She must have thought she had the show won.

I thought it was interesting that they gave her the award last night for being the laziest campmate. She obviously didnt do anything in camp except for prancing about and not doing the trials until she realised that her campmates were starving.

With that 'Queen of the Jungle' tagline I do get the sense that events deviated from someones script somewhat.

I think that perhaps there were certain expectations on how well she would do and somebody forgot to re-edit an article that was written a few weeks ago.

If you think about it she appeared on the surface to be the perfect jungle campmate and acted and did the sorts of things previous jungle campmates did. On paper she looked to be the perfect contestant.

But things can change and tastes can move on. What might have worked 5 or 6 years ago might not have the same effect in 2012. It was probably not such a great idea in hindsight to try to play the role of an IAC contestant that may have been popular about 5 or 6 years ago. She seemed so out of date.

The last female winner of this show was Stacey Solomon in 2010, so already there were clues there that perhaps the viewers were looking for something a bit different from young female contestants on IAC nowadays?
She seemed that she was probably more suited to Channel 5's version of Celebrity Big Brother than IAC in 2012.

She seemed like a nice enough person but I think she played it all wrong.

It might be my age but she comes across as far too young to be sexy.

I suppose I'm not FHM's target market.

Congratulations to Helen for being crowned 'Queen of the Jungle'.
Helen successfully placed 7th out of the 12 contestants and finished in an incredible 4th place out of the 6 women.

She's a couple of years older then me and I agree.

Her personality is a complete turn off.

So I guess one could say that FHM were well and truly wrong with their prediction for the results on this one; seeing as Helen didn't actually make even the the top half of rthose who went into the jungle (allowing for the possibility that Brian might have gone out early on in the elimintaion voitng).

Let's be honest though, she is the Queen of the Jungle. She carried the show for the first two weeks.

She did imo and every night after she let the pages on the thread for the h/l's went down and down and down.

Not for me . The Queen for me are both Ashley and Charlie who throw themselves in and supoorted each other and others .

Exactly. Proof as to why the big characters that create talking points should always be the last ones standing.
