The Queen of the Jungle doesnt have to always spark debate .I love watching Ashley , loved her humour , her laugh, her actions, her warmth .Maybe I watch for different reasons , never for the debate .

Yep she may not spark debate but I have just loved watching Ashley. Every time she's on the screen I can't help but smile. She has thoroughly entertained me.

Charlie though should have gone days ago.

I dunno about 'Queen of the Jungle'.. well I do and it turns out the Rosemary (!) is more entitled to that title than Helen.. but I do think that Helen made a good contestant. Much as I like them and think they're nice, 6 Davids and 6 Charlies would be pretty boring.

You need people like Helen, Eric, Nadine and Rosemary to create interest in the show and add drama, so yes, she was a good booking. And I'm glad that Helen left at time when the public view of her was one of indulgent amusement rather than the dislike that she'd generated just a few days before.

On yesterday's Lorraine, they said that Helen stands to make £500,000 from endorsements and so on. The winner stands to make £200,000, so she's done extremely well out of it.

Right at the beginning of the programme they had Kate Garraway discussing IAC with a male presenter - didn't get his name. He said the winner isn't necessarily the one who earns the most money. Then said how much she'll get compared to the winner, and said she had to get herself a profile in the jungle to get it.

So what's the point of this thread - are people getting snobbish about the intellectual attributes required of FHM models now?

I didn’t think so. In fact, I stopped watching when her attention-seeking became so in-your-face that it was embarrassing to view. If it wasn’t the pleading with Ashley to have bikini shower contests it was the tits being constantly pulled as far out of the bikini tops as they could be, without the nips showing. For me, the last straw was the leopard bikini with the chicken fillets and the couple of inches of lipstick that even Katie Price wouldn’t wear! And her constant vacant look that TPTB kept shoving down our bored throats was the final straw. The trials are tired and boring. The eating trials are now rather pathetic and I didn’t bother watching the water/wid/fire nonsense from last night. I went and made a cuppa. I hope TPTB learn from this. It could be that the programme is now moribund. It’s been getting worse each year as z-listers continue to pimp themselves for a gig.
