Yes and no.

I did before X-Factor. I was even excited for him to be a judge.
But since he's joined the show he's irritated me beyond belief, he's like a crap Simon Cowell who just isn't manipulative enough to mask his tactics.

My sister has loved him for about 20 years, she was tempted to watch X-Factor just to see him in action but thought better of it because she doesn't want to go off him. I think to myself 'Good f'ing job she didn't!'

I like Gary, just not as a judge on The X Factor.

Last year I thought he was channelling his unsuccessful Heartbeat character Micky Shannon.

But this year I think he is channelling his musical contributions to Peter Kay's Britain's Got the Pop Factor... and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice, hence he is having a lot more fun as his Scouse equivalent of R Wayne is doing him proud in this series.

With a bit of luck in a week's time he can leave the franchise with his head held high having done a great job in torpedoing the show.

yes an no, he is the better of the bunch, 10 times better than Louis and Tulisa but I don't think being a judge suits him either

In terms of music credibility he's easily the best judge they've ever had, but I do think the producers/other judges have given him a raw deal. So yes, I really like Gary. But no, I don't want him on the show for his own sake. He has a better chance of success with his solo work and Take That and they are both higher quality than X Factor.

I like him at the audition - judges houses stages but then in the live shows I can't stand him and his double standards. Shame he's really attractive.

I like him as the others can't give a straight answer on who they are sending home- they gush endlessly on,when we just want the name .He also speaks out as he sees , the others dress it up in sugar.

Went for yes, he's probably my leasy favourite judge because of his comments to rylan but i dont dislike him.

yes i love him hes my second fave judge on the panel, his critique is spot on week after week
