Unless it's someone from their own network, where they might be able to do a spin off I guess.

People saying they 'made Charlie the chosen one' etc. didn't think it through, like others have said Charlie is contracted to BBC, and has a stable job, it would be pointless for ITV.

it's not as if they will disregard all the others but the winner.if they can make a show with any of them they will.

I thought he kind of milked his cut from the ferret thing tbh. He's a boxer, he's used to stuff like that but he made such a big thing out of a scratch. I liked him otherwise, and was surprised he didn't get through to the final tbh.

I really don't think it matters that she came second.......it was how she came across that counts. The fact that she was in the final (or even top 3)is probably just as important in terms of getting further work post IAC. Ashley's character, good humour , and natural ability to shine in front of a camera are what is important for her future success....so don't be too disappointed.

Can't deny the attraction between Dec and Ashley

They are so going to hook up once the wrap party is done I reckon

As if the winner changes anything anyway.

We've had 3 weeks of entertainment and Charlie wins at the very end of the last episode. It's over now, does it change anything? Does it matter? No, not really.

Just a bit of light entertainment and a laugh.

Charlie herself was a bit embarrassed and just laughed it off because it's ridiculous.

I agree. In terms of an extended audition for future TV work in Britain, it matters not a jot that Ashley didn't win.

I'd certainly be happy to see more of her onscreen in the future.

What what happen now if ITV announced Ashley could replace the IAC now presenters next year?

Do you reckon? He's such a sexless little thing, wouldn't have thought he'd be Ashley's type.

Sorry, I know that people would like a love story and they are both lovely people but I just can't see her choosing him. They don't match somehow.

Still, we'll see..

I think Ashley can set her sights a little higher than that!

Outside of DS it's funny, a lot of people saying they wanted joint winners tonight. I guess I wasn't alone in my thinking.

I hope so. They are so cute together...Dec looked smitten when she was close to him
The height is perfect too!

Another boring, predictable final. They need to revamp it, it's an anti-climax every year. The first few series weren't like that. Now it's a lot of looking back, an eating trial and...that's it.

Halfway on her knees is where Dec wants to sit.
Me thinks he wants to see a little more her t..t.
He's looked at her bottom, He's looked at her top.
I wonder if it's more than just a feel he'll cop

They should both do well out of it. Lovely young women.

And THIS is why I'm SO happy with the result. All the vitriol on here all through the series has been coming from Ashley's very immature fans. I haven't let it lead to me disliking Ashley - because she's lovely - but it's been hilarious to read.
