So hes a money grabbing, Westlife creating corporate shite!!...did anyone see him on Frank Skinner. Des and Mel etc?....those jeans...phew..the mans worth his dough... he makes essential viewing tv...keeps us amused with his heel wearing, high waste antics and is generally a thouroughly Top bloke..ive never bought a Westlife single, will grudging corrupt my cd collection with the crap charity thingy and buy Steves song out of principal(probably) of being happily entertained for the last 2 months..then delete both...

The one thing you can safely say about La Simon is he KNOWS what he is.
Oh and one other thing for which he receives props from me is....He introduced the American TV watching public to IRONY and sarcasm with his appearances on American Idol.
So,if he does nothing else right in his life,for that thing alone I will always be grateful....

Watching Simon as a mentor on The X Factor, he came across as a thoroughly decent and caring bloke.

I was never a fan of Simon Cowell but really warmed to him during X Factor. He certainly came across as the most decent of the three mentors.

Apparently Rebecca Loos has got her sights set on Simon and wants him to dump Terri - watch out Simon, she usually gets what she wants

I have a lot of respect for Simon Cowell. If I ever had a relative interested in a pop career I would value his opinion above any other of the music "guru's" we see on TV (although I would class the Grant's opinions highly). Sure, he doesn't mince his words, and so can seem harsh, but he also doesn't make false promises. If he believes in someone he seems (I say "seems" as we don't see behind the scenes) to give them 100%.

I really like Simon. If he thinks someone won't make it then he says so... which means if they listen to him, they can go and find something they're good at and stop wasting their time singing... If he thinks someone is good then he really backs them... I think he's a really nice guy and you can tell he puts on a lot of the harshness for the camera... its his sense of humour, some people just take it the wrong way and think he's evil. Go Simon
