As Bruce Forsyth's recent performances have generated a lot of comment.

Opinions on Brucie's performance tonight.

Good or bad.
Let's keep it only to remarks that would be deemed "fair comment"
Nothing unpleasant or anything which could be considered vindictive.

p.s, I spelled "satisfactory" "unsatisfactorily " in the poll, before anyone comments on "me spellin'"

It won't let me edit it.

Is this a challenge not to hit FF?

To be fair, it would be unkind not to watch the whole programme before voicing an opinion.

It might be an idea for someone to start a poll on the judge's performances too. So many opinions on here scattered among so many threads. They've been judging people for eight series.
Time for some collective opinions about them?

There'll be a few with their votes already decided.

Yes, of that I have no doubt whatsoever.

We must expect that to happen, but hopefully we can have a more accurate appraisal of his performance from the comments made after the show.

If anyone thinks it unfair, I'd remind them that everyone in a job should have a fair appraisal.

How all very polite, who could possibly think that the gathering of a lynch mob could be unfair.

It cannot possibly be more embarrassing than last week, surely?

Terry don't spoil the thread with your frequent daft comments.

You've totally ignored my first post where I've asked people to be objective.
But from you, should we expect any other behaviour?

Any votes posted before the show either way just shows a rather silly attitude and does the posters no credit whatsoever.

This reminds me a bit of the Doctor Who episode polls where opposing factions vote "brilliant" or "terrible" before the show has even aired!

I'll come back later and vote based on tonight's performance.

I stand by my comment.

By the way it appears that 8 votes have been cast already,

Objectivity tells us that the person who spoiled the thread was the one that placed the very first vote which was for Sir Bruce to retire.

Well as yours is listed amongst them, that makes yours one of the "silly" ones doesn't it?

Please restrict your comments to an actual appraisal of his performance tonight and post them after the show.

It's pointless otherwise.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to participate. My daughter has already hit 'Pause' in anticipation.

Well I would think my rating is usually between 1 - 4 most weeks but I will wait till after the show and hope he does a good job this week. Unfortunately my family insist on running forward alot of his jokes so i may have to watch it back fully later on like a real geek

Ten extremists have staked out a position before the event has started, they must be time travellers:

4 raised a 10 paddle.

We've just reached the point where he started singing Amore and my daughter shouted "Help! Help! Help!" as she grabbed the remote.

If the public criticism last week caused a rethink and reinforcement in Bruce's camp that's wonderful. The jokes were much much better -- the only one I did not like was about him surviving to 2016.

If he can keep this up, for me Bruce can stay as long as he likes. I switched my 1-paddle to 9-paddle. Without that 2016 joke, who knows?

I voted 8

Made me chuckle - once - and nowhere near as mortifying as last week.
