for nearly 12 months i have accessed my byonder email on my sony t610 mobile using the following settings.

Protocol : POP3

Incoming server : 195.188.53.61

Incoming port : 110

Outgoing server : 193.113.160.13

Outgoing port : 25


for the past few days i keep getting the "server not found" message so i checked the IP addresses for pop3.blueyonder.co.uk & smtp.blueyonder.co.uk to ensure they hadn't changed. i used the "nslookup" command in a command prompt window and it seems the IP for smtp.blueyonder has changed to 195.188.53.60

but i still get the "server not found" error.

anyone else getting probs checking byonder mail on their mobile ?

Don't worry yet m8 give it few more days they may be having problems at there end if this goes on for more then a week contact your service provider or even blueyonder for advice.

Are you having problems sending emails, but can receive them ok?

If you are, its because email providers are starting to use authentication. This is in an effort to reduce spam.

I don't know if it is possible to set up a T610 in this way.

If you check on your email provider's website it should tell you whether this is the case or whether the server addresses have changed or whether there is some other problem.
