[X Factor] Battle Of The Seasons: Live Show 3
Previously on Battle Of The Seasons. 14 acts sang all about body parts and we know which ones weren't covered...sorry, bad cold, gives me dirty jokes.
Anyways, while some were able to sing their "hearts" out, a few were unable to find out which bones were connected to. But in the end, it was another eye-catching departure for two more acts and it was a huge kick in the teeth for the 2009 class as Ethan Boroian and Olly Murs were eliminated from the competition leaving the class with just one act left. Tonight, the 12 acts will be singing songs from Eurovision, so expect a few cheesy moments, some neighborhood scoring and all that happens in between. ![]() Fighting for your votes are: EndOfSanity and The last of the '09 CLASS Despina Pilavakis Ryan11 and The '10 CLASS Cher Lloyd Elesha Moses Belle Amie bboy1988 and The '11 CLASS Joe Cox Jade Richards Kitty Brucknell The Risk NarutoFan100 and The '12 CLASS Jake Quickenden Leanne Robinson Carolynne Poole District3 Welcome ladies and gentleman to where your Saturday night starts right here! Alright, before we start, just to clarify. Yes, I do have a bad cold so my hosting services will be at least 25% slower than normal. But I can still type away fast, let's hope the judges don't catch my cold, speaking of which, judges are you present? |

As stated earlier, I'll try to be as quick as I can. Anyways, EoS won't be here but I have his comments. So let's get started, shall we?
Let's open the show with the '12 class and kicking us off with Malta's entry from this year, it's Jake Quickenden! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjhBsCop3Ys |

Jake Quickenden
That was a decent performance from you there Jake. However, having been in the bottom three last week, I expected you to do a little better than that. I know that this wasn't the best theme for you, but this was a little on the cheesy side from you. You should be here next week though, as I know you can do better. |

Jake
Jake, I am such a huge fan of you and your voice, but for me this wasn’t my favourite performance of yours buddy, and I think its down to the theme. I am not saying that it was a bad performance because it wasn’t that bad, I just felt that there was something lacking in the performance. Something tells though you will have a legion of fans especially female and they will vote you through. |

Jake Quickenden -
Having been in the bottom two last week, you came out fighting and delivered! Your vocals aren't the greatest in the competition but they aren't the worst. You are a performer who entertains and can sing. The song choice was great, and I hope people realise that we didn't go down the safe route this week |

That definitely wasn't your best performance, Jake. The song choice wasn't the best, and I think you are very forgettable. Every week, I have to watch your YouTube videos to remind myself what you sound like. |

So we begin with not good comments for Jake, could he end up going the same way Ethan did last week?
Now for the '11 class that also has four acts still in. With UK's entry from 2011, it's The Risk! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRU31ieUhJM |

The Risk
I'm sorry guys, I saw this song choice coming from a mile away. It's the typical boyband does boyband situation, which isn't very exciting. The name of the group is The Risk, so you should take some inspiration from that name and take more risks. I want you to come out here and deliver a stunning, unexpected song. I know you've got in it you, so good luck in the voting! |

The Risk
I am sorry, but that was too predictable. I wanted your mentor to take a risk with this theme, but it was in terms of a performance, bland. The vocals were good, but not great boys. |

I thought that was great, if a little predictable singing a boyband song. It's my new favourite performance from you guys. |

The Risk
Guys, out of my whole team you were the hardest act for me to find a decent song for, but I think I have struck gold with this song. It was amazing guys honestly bias aside it was something special. I know some of the judges will most likely say it was safe and predictable, but let me tell you if this is classed as safe and predictable, I can’t wait for your next safe and predictable performance as it will be off the wall. I hope the public are growing to love you guys as much as I do and will believe in you like I do and show you their support and get you through to the next show. |

Not good comments for The Risk, along with hearing the dreaded "predictable" word, can they avoid the sing-off?
Now for the first '10 class performance with Austria's entry from 2011, it's Elesha Moses! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGDvl2UqWrY |

Elesha Moses
I liked that Elesha. Your mentor did not go down the safe route, and your vocals shined. I think it could be quite forgettable to be honest, but it was a good overall performance. |

Elesha Moses
That was beautiful Elesha, a lovely rendition of that song. I didn't see this one coming at all, as it's not a typical cheesefest of a Eurovision song. Like I said, that was a stunning rendition. If you deliver more performances like that one I could see you get very far. Well done! |

I'm so proud of you, Elesha. You come out here and give another excellent performance, even with the tough theme. The song suits your voice, and you killed it tonight. |

Elesha
Elesha that was a very sweet confident performance. My only criticism was that I thought the song should have been brought down a key for your voice, to allow you to tap into your raw soulful voice. The performance was very good tonight and even though you just stood on the stage and sang, you had everyone captured. Well done tonight. |

Great comments for Elesha and the audience were indeed captured on that one, a new contender perhaps?
Back to the 2012 class and with Azerbaijan's entry from this year, it's Leanne Robinson! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzT7O3Fnwpk |

Leanne
Leanne, hmmmm the start of that song sounded a bit off when you tried to find those big deep notes, and then rose to the higher octave. I can fully understand why your mentor gave you this song to sing tonight, but for me I just didn’t like the song, and as a result I felt bored during the performance. I don’t blame you though I blame the song. |

Leanne Robinson
I don't think this was the right song choice for you Leanne. Don't get me wrong, your tone fitted the song in parts of the song, but was also completely off on other parts of the song. For example, I didn't like the beginning very much. A very average performance from you, I expect better from you if you're here next week. |

It wasn't bad overall, but you struggled with the deeper parts of the song. The whole song should be perfect, and I'm sorry but that might cost you votes. |

So it's mixed comments for Leanne, will she be safe later tonight?
Now for the 2011 class again and with a cover of Sweden's entry from that exact year, it's Kitty Brucknell! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntkaK70gLyo |
