So it's now 2-1 to send Jake home.

EndOfSanity has his decision based on his rankings that I received, he is sending home...The Risk!

Which means for the second time this Series, we go to DEADLOCK!

*Deadlock sounds occur*

So once again, the judges have lost their power and therefore, we go back to the public vote from earlier.
The act who received the lowest votes and leaving the competition in 11th place is...

Good luck bboy. Come on Jake!

The Risk!

So it's commiserations to the boys and Stephen who loses his first act.
But well done to Jake who survives by the skin of his teeth again in his second sing-off of the Series.

That now leave Naruto with the most acts since he still has four.
Now, I bet you wanna know the next theme, judges.

Gutted for the boys tonight especially as they won the sing off hands down, but well done to Jake.

Well, since it's first day of Christmas, a true love of mine has sent me the next theme which is...

Spoiler
WINTER SONGS!

Yes folks, since it's Winter, it's time to get into the spirit of the coldest Season but perhaps the most festive if you have a set mind of positive thinking. What you gotta do is find songs that have been released during the Winter period and it can be either normal songs or if you are feeling brave, Christmas songs performed by some of the greatest artists through the ages and before you ask, yes, covers are allowed.

Oh and you'll be pleased to know that tonight was the last double elimination...for now, so the next show will be on Tuesday at 6:30pm, good luck judges and remember, the holidays are coming!

Ooooh, difficult theme......

Does the song have to be released in December? A lot of Xmas songs come out in November.

Good point, Ryan. Since it's Winter songs, then it can be any song that has been released in the Winter, so songs from November do count!

Oh and the Webpage has been updated.

And on a final note, do take your time with finding songs as there is some hidden gems and Jake is going to need a new sing-off song as well.

So was I, I struggled to find a good song so went safe with the blue song and thought they wud be middle of the road and get through. But I honestly thought they were far better in the sing off and would be curious to see if EoS was actually online what way he would have voted. Would he have saved The Risk or stuck to his earlier vote.

Yea I didnt think they were the worst tonight.. now that I've catched up.
Loved Elesha, District3 and Belle Amie tonight..
And I personally think the tone criticism can be too over used at times.. it doesn't always mean that, for example James Arthur does a song by Adele, he must have the same tone as her. Just saying

I'm glad to see Despina got through, I was actually very worried for her (hence me checking this thread at this time of the day ). Thanks to everyone who voted for her.

As for the two posts above me: Stephen, I think I would've taken it to deadlock either way as it seemed like the fairest decision, as I quite liked both sing-off songs. Not just The Risk's, although I must admit that it was pretty good and definitely made me think if tonight;s result was the right one.

Kuda, I think that the James example you used greatly exaggerates the whole thing. If someone were to give James an actual Adele song, and provided a link to the original version, I would give the tone criticism and call it unimaginative. However, if said mentor provided a link to a suitable cover, I might really like it and praise the performance. In other words, the tone criticism is used in situations where it's hard to imagine the act singing the song in the version provided. This doesn't just happen in these games too, there are very few artists who can deliver a Janis Joplin song for that matter.

Also, November isn't technically part of the winter Soppyfan, the season starts on December 21st.

So to clarify about the theme, any song released either in November or December can be used? And it doesn't technically have to be about winter?

Yes and I'm now waiting for songs from two mentors.
Songs will be chosen for them, if I don't get them by the end of this Evening.
