Audio Echo
Hi gang. I'm having some difficulties with audio echo after reconnecting my AV receiver (Onkyo TX-SR309) to my new tv (Panasonic Viera TX-L42ET5B)
When I turn the receiver on, unlike with my previous tv the audio from the tv speakers is out of sync with the audio from the receiver. I've made sure the ARC function is on and the HDMI cable is connected via the correct numbered input (HDMI 2). All in all I'm baffled as this wasn't an issue with my previous tv. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Cheers |

Turn the TV speakers off. You don't need them and they will only muck up the sound quality anyway.
The Onkyo should have a A/V Sync function which introduces a delay into the audio. If the TV audio is heard before the Onkyo decrease the delay. If the TV audio is heard after the Onkyo increase the delay. Things get complicated if the delay is on zero and the TV is before the Onkyo because you obviously can't do negative delay! |
