Agree. He has an extraordinary backstory. Abused by his dad who also abused his mother and tried to kill her and his brother killed himself over it all. The show was always going to milk it.

What a sick, twisted and disgusting comment. You are an absolute disgrace to society- and to yourself.

I'm sure I'll get over the disgrace. I've read far worse on these forums.

I can't think of much worse than insulting a religion and child sexual abuse... But you obviously can- so yeah you must be so proud of yourself. What an asset to society you are.

Make sure none of your Aunty's children end up on x factor otherwise you will have to tell her how you are on a Internet forum telling people how you are fed up about hearing about her tradgedy and it is just a sob story nobody wants to hear so she can cash in on it.

If you're happy with what you said leave it at that. For what it's worth I think you just said it to get noticed / for effect like a child showing off looking for attention. You can get over the disgrace maybe a victim of child abuse can't so easily.

Well it is a serious subject you decided to try and make light of, so you should have expected to receive some kind of backlash so you chill and realise you fked up.

The most important thing however is that he is a fantastic singer...the words actually mean something when he sings.”

Yours by a long shot.

Sorry, it was an insensitive thing to say. I sincerely meant it as a bit of fun, what with it being the 'X-Factor' forum, but in hindsight realise it was misjudged. I'm not a bad person and didn't mean what I said, it just seemed 'amusing' to me at the time but clearly wasn't (another reason not to drink alcohol).

For the record I find Peadophilia disgusting and am aware Jahmene has been through hell.

Thanks for that- It takes courage to accept when a mistake has been made- and I am sure you are not a malicious person x

Thanks, I feel like such a fool now. I really didn't mean any harm to anyone, I've had a few drinks and have said stupid things. I'm trying to stop drinking and have cut down but still have my monents.

Aaw- don't worry about it... We all say silly things some times. I know this is not the right place to discuss this- but if you really are trying to cut down on alcohol you should go to your GP- there is loads of support available out there... (I'm doing my GP exams right now- which is why I know this...!)

Good luck xxx

Good point. I do believe though its down to Nicole . From a few weeks back when it first came out, she jumped straight on it stating although it was an horrendous week for him, he was so strong coming out on the stage to perform..

Thanks for that it takes courage and decency to admit a mistake especially on the internet.

Enjoy taking the piss but if you sail to close to the wind people will get upset, so just roll with the punches.

Or maybe, he told the story once, and it's been repeated too many times.

Accusing someone of cashing in on family tradegy based on opinion and not fact, is no better than you accuse them of - bearing in mind the pain and anguish that can cause.

Which isn't funny, and that sort of thing has happened to many. But as this is a singing contest, then bad past events shouldn't be part of it.

So you get the point that what you said was nasty, it always interesting to see peoples reaction to their own words turned back on them. What I don't understand is if you feel that your words are nasty if directed to you why you feel the need to say them to other people.
