If you put it on mute then how do you know how he sounded?

He nailed it, got my vote.

He nailed it if you like emotionless, powerful shouty songs.

Buble I cannot watch, makes me feel sick. Was disappointed that Chris had to sing one of his BUT Chris nailed it! Still don't like the song but love Chris's voice.

I agree with the OP, dreadful noise. I thought he did well with the first song and last week he did well although I'm not keen on him.

It's all about song choice on this show and as usual Gary blew it with that one. It honestly feels like he's been sabotaged.

If he gets through they will give him a really crap song for the final I bet.

IT was very bad. I thought he started in the wrong key or something but then later on, I realised it's just that he was FLAT throughout!

I'm no Buble fan but my partner was "no, no, NO HE'S KILLING IT!!!". Christopher sure can belt out songs which is great when he sings powerful songs, but anything that requires emotion is a definite NO NO!!!

as i said in the main show thread it says it all when his attempt at being current was to do a song from a "throw-back" artist like buble

This was exactly what I thought, at the beginning He seemed to start in the wrong key and maybe that was what continued without. I did agree that his first song was quite good and feel sorry for him in the fact that he was put through by the Judges at the audition stage and every week he gets treated as if he had killed his Nan. However how some posters just blindly like every performance baffles me because his second song was off. I love Jahmene but have felt at times that he wasnt as good as was made out by the Judges and at times ive liked Union J but sometimes they have been off. I was a teenager when I bought Whitney Houstons first album and was a super fan, but can admit a lot of her later performances were heartbreakingly bad. This isnt a politics forum, surely we can celebrate and admit when our favs have had an off moment or a blindingly good one

I hate the song with a passion and unfortunately I don't think Christooher sang it very well. I say unfortunately because I'm not a fan but I just don't think it did him any favours and he could have done better. The song even sounds dated but it didn't suit him.

I never thought it was possible to murder a michael buble track but I guess you live and learn. I don't like christopher but if he's got to shout something then he should stick to the eighties power ballads. I can see him being the next cilla black

I'm catching up watching the last half hour on ITV2 (had to watch The Killing last night) and Chris absolutely murdered that song. Shouty, warbly, no emotional connection. It was one of his worst.

I'm not a Chris hater, he can win for all I care, but that was awful.
