James has truly been shite tonight. His cover of Abba's SOS the other week was when he peaked. He'll be in the bottom two tomorrow.

Can somebody explain why what I hear at home is so different to what the judges hear.

Massive reverb and tons of echo is guaranteed to hide pretty much anything.

If he is supposed to be the next big sucess story god help the music industry, he is always painful to watch but that racket he made just now was dreadful. The man cannot sing, what is all the hype about.

It was brilliant, i was never a huge fan of James but he has been incredible in the live shows - deserves to win!

As I wrote in another thread that last note carried on when he stepped away from the mic almost. All very suspicious.

Thank goodness so many other people noticed - I thought I'd made a mistake at first.

Explains why this was the only performance I've quite enjoyed from James (although he did lapse a bit at the end ..... and right up to the part where his voice kept going after he stopped singing.)

If there was some sort of jiggery-pokery going on with the tuning, I'd feel pretty ripped off if I'd already voted for him.
