Looking more and more like the next big boy band.

They're definitely the underdogs, I really hope they get through but I'm not hopeful

I thought they were really strong, especially their first song, but I think James probably edged it over them in terms of voting at the last minute, and Jahmene and Chris seem locked on for the final at this point. A real shame.

I agree but I do agree with Tulisa the 2nd song was too safe but I mean Louis a WL song

Louis has to sort his pension. Westlife are over, Union J will be wearing suits and sitting on stools in no time.

Where are they going to get the votes from? The kids who like One Direction aren't going to be voting for a rival act

James is overrated. Hope Union J are in the final with Chris and Jahmene. Will be voting for Union J and think Chris has improved so much during the competition he will be getting a vote as well. His first performance was fantastic the best of the night as far as the five people in this house are concerned. This is the first time we will will be voting this series and all as above. Jahmene ruined my favourite song, I look to you but Ella was and is my favourite, I look forward to her future, miss that she is not in the final.

Yeah, the second song wasn't a great choice. They would have really stood out tonight if they'd done something uptempo for their second number.

They were great but I'm sad to say that the voter demographics don't favour them. Middle aged women are the main voting group and that will favour the other lads. Even Chris who doesn't deserve to be there.

But look at one direction, the voter demographics worked against them too in the final but they secured the bigger fanbase that would actually go out and buy records.

I really like Union J and they started live shows as a slightly quirky boyband who really seemed to have something a bit different. But they have been totally ironed out and had all individuality knocked out of them. Both of tonight's performances were bog standard boyband schmaltz and will lose them a place in the final. I'm very sorry to say that Christopher's path to Orange domination has been cleared for him by rotten song choices and production for these lads.

Without a doubt, the best of the night!

Not so good from UJ tonight...and listening to him 'pimping' himself to get folks to vote for them was shameful....don't want to see him in a onesie at all tbh, he looks awful in them!!!

I agree. They were the ones who really stepped it up in the semi-finals in both their performances. I hope they get to the final too.
Jahmene, James and Christopher gave us pretty much more of the same as we have already heard for them. I love Christopher's perfomances most weeks, sometimes Jahmene's and sometimes James.
James had so much backing track on his second song that I wondered why he needed it and Jahmene did a tuneless gymnastic version of "At Last."
So for me Union J and Christopher were the best in the semis.
