I'm 30 (a 'young' 30) and am voting for Chris. Have done since he was a wildcard option. In my opinion. ( of which I am entitled..) He can sing and doesn't need any gimmicks to assist him in doing so, which some of the others seem to require.
I would and will buy his album as love 80's classics the way he sings them.

Also, whilst I think of it again. Why is it ok for James to echo, sorry I mean sing, a song from the 80's (may not be 80's, can't remember the song now but remember hearing it last night and acknowledging it was an old classic) but when Christopher does its considered a negative? Tulisa apparently hates the old classics yet was saying what a great song choice. Am I missing something, or is she a complete and utter hypocrite??

Christopher is a winner already in my eyes.

One rule for one and one for another..... and yes a lot of what the Judge's say is hypocritical. That's what I like about Chris and Jahmene, they dont need gimmicks of any kind, their voices are all they need

Tulisa's point was that it's all Chris did. He'd come out do a 80's song in a cruise ship type way, and repeat. Hence she thought he wouldn't be credible or sell many records doing this. Which is true. Most of the people voting for Chris haven't bought a cd/downloaded music in years. I get why older people would like someone singing songs they've heard of, which younger more current artists maybe doing versions of songs they've never heard of in a hip type way....but really his voice is decent it's not great. he's fairly average.

oh and well done for pointing out you aren't "menan" or "one of menan's friends"

SHOCKER....the young and middle-aged are voting for Chris because we actually think he is good lol. Then again we are mental

I'm 21 and I am voting for my lord and savior, Christopher Maloney. He deserves an OBE.

Long live the orange. I bought some Fanta tonight and I will consume it once that inspirational man makes the final!

Christopher.

Could only vote 10 times this week, so I'm a bit worried.

If Chris' album was full of songs like You Raise Me Up, I would buy his album as his voice is incredible. Last night was his best performance to date

And the young singer at the moment in the charts who is doing a classic cover (the power of love) which sounds same tempo/style/genre etcetc as the original? Gabrielle something.

I simply don't understand why singing in a classical way is deemed bad(when I say classical, I mean traditional/ dare I say it, old fashioned way), as those classics are always being played in places, as they are classics. All this urban style stuff- it has a short shelf life. Don't get me wrong, I like recent music (I even downloaded Tulisa's young song!) but classic songs are the long term successors. I can't see her song, nor similar ones, still being played in 30 years time in the same way that the more classic easy listening type stuff will be.
Not sure if that makes sense but I know what I mean ( on phone so not sure how to do dig spy smily faces).

No, I didn't mean it that way!

I just meant going by the voting patterns displayed here, it would seem Jahmene doesn't seem to be getting the same level of support as some of the other acts.

I just called up to vote and was given an engaged tone.
That person was Chris.

I've never got an engaged tone before in any series I have voted in!

I've given him one vote now. I don't think he'll win though, nobody who has been in the bottom 2 ever has.
