It's just been announced that one of the three dogs that played Wellard in Eastenders is to be one of the camp-mates in next year's I'm a Celebrity! This news has made him automatic favourite to take the crown of King of the Jungle although some are a little worried by the fact that him being a Belgian Tervuren dog may alienate him from the show's extremely jingoistic voters.

Silly! The character is dead and the character has been played by three dogs! A couple of them are still alive and just the mere mention of Eastenders on its CV makes it a hot favourite!
