I understand what you're saying, BUT if enough of us had voted for Martina Navratilova perhaps Joe 'Yer bref smells if ya don't fart' Swash wouldn't have won - and we wouldn't have to see him every year acting like some Victorian street urchin on our TV screens.
Think of it as preventing a win.
