I think that guy takes too many liberties, and people are too polite to tell him to stop touching, kissing or in some other way invading their space. Ashley has only been out of the jungle for a little while and swash has got his paws all over her.

These showbiz types are very touchy-feely. I can't imagine anyone is offended.

He knows that women on the show...or relatives and wives, girlfriends..can't tell him where to go , on air, nor smack him one. They're trapped on air with Swash. If he did that in any other job he'd get a warning from bosses at the least.

I was quite amused though that Hugo made sure that no one got their hands on his girlfriend except himself. Well done Hugo.

Sleazy slime-ball. The producers let him do and say what he likes.

And shame on Laura Whitmore for using the show to help Joe 'Yer bref smells when ya don't fart' Swash with his amorous ambitions towards Ashley.

Did you see him when the ITV2 show was finishing? He was all over Ashley like a rash.

Oh in a jokey way of course, just larking around 'joke' kissing I'm sure.

I reckon, that there are very few men in Britain, regardless of looks, age, build etc who Ashley would shrink from chatting to, laughing with, having a drink with and dancing with. She was great, with Colin, for example...and Eric. It's the same with most women. It's the sleazeballs, that get on womens' nerves !

Of course they won't be.
In 30 years time the news headlines will read that ex-TV 'funnyman' Joe Swash (61) did bad things to people in his dressing room backstage. The excuse made at the time was "It's just a birruv a joke innit luv? Just having a bit of a larf wiv yous". That's how it was back in those days before 2042.

Lol, really? This is sarcasm right?

Joe is sleazy on the show, but I've always assumed that sleazy is his "script", there always seems to be a wink, nudge from him and everyone around him. I'd be surprised if its actually serious.

LOL Well sort of.

It's just that I do think he's a sleazeball, but I'm also alluding to the fact what with recent news in the media how this sort of thing would have been seen 30 years ago when people like Freddie Starr and Dave Lee Travis did a bit of fondling and groping. Times haven't really changed as much as we think they have. People still think they can touch and fondle and think that just because they're someone off the telly it's perfectly fine to laugh it off as a joke.

Even if that sounds a bit much you'd still think that this clown would consider how he treats guests in the light of recent events. What an idiot.

But I am joking, I'm not meaning to be that serious.

Joe - there's a reason why you're single. And it's not from want of trying.

Swash will have sunk into total obscurity *long* before then...

Hopefully he will have no place on future shows.
He is a no talent little scumball and makes me wince every time I see and hear him.

Well you say that. but I was quite shocked the other day when I checked the IAC Wiki page and realised that Joe Swash won the show 4 years ago in 2008.
I could hardly believe it's been that long ago.

But he's still here. Still presenting on television. Still with the same cockney barrow boy persona with the stupid voice, or whatever it is he thinks he's doing.

Somebody provided a youtube link to a show he was on before he was on Eastenders called Club Reps. When I saw him on it I couldn't believe how he ever got on television at all as a TV regular. It was no jokey persona as part of the script when he was on that show, he was a repellent individual in that too from the clip I saw.

Just the other day Joe seemed grateful that he has that job, he knows if it wasn't for that job he would be struggling to stay on TV.
