How, exactly?
Eric and Rosemary were by far the most entertaining in the camp! Helen not far behind for being a complete airhead and starving them. |

I'm not sure how you're trying to disprove how Ashley was more fun than Charlie by comparing Ashley to Eric, Rosemary, and Helen.
How does that work? |

Charlie was dull for 2 of the 3 weeks and Ashley was good every week. It is simple.

I just loved watching Ashley, every time she was on screen I couldn't help but smile.
Charlie bored me. |

Ashley made me laugh more. Charlie is a lovely woman- but for me being nice doesn't make them the most entertaining.
I noticed that most of Charlies funny bits in the VTs were the result of her doing something and someone else saying something funny as a result. That's not a bad thing BTW, as like Charlie, most of us are not naturally amusing. In fact, thinking about it more Charlie seems about the most 'normal' of all of them there and perhaps that explains her popularity. Doesn't make me want to switch on and watch her though. |

Her not being the most fun in the camp (which I dispute) doesn't cancel her being more fun than the least.

Ashley was more bubbly and just a bit more personality IMO. She should have won.

Ashley was never bitchy, had time for everyone, took on every challenge to the best of her ability, was funny and entertaining, didn't constantly moan about missing relatives/outside luxuries. She just got on and did it. Charlie bitched about Helen in the BT then was nicey nicey to her face (except on one occasion). She brought up Kiki almost every time she opened her mouth. Up until the last four she was a bit like wallpaper, just there and didn't do much where as we could see Ashley's personality and warmth shine through even when she herself wasn't doing a lot.

I find it amusing that people claim someone has 'no personality' (everyone has a personality; otherwise they would be dead)
; or that someone didn't ever do anything in a TV show that is HEAVILY edited. HEAVILY edited (I'll repeat that, just in case anyone missed it the first time). I liked both Charlie and Ashley (and, indeed, David! I was shocked when he was voted out) and was going to be delighted/disappointed by whomever won because in the end, I wanted them both as Queen of the Jungle. I didn't actually have a favourite at all. But it was very telling when various clips were played during the interviews that Charlie had been at least as 'entertaining' as everyone else, but we had NEVER SEEN IT, because ITV had chosen not to show her. As for being 'bitchy' - there's a fine line between complaining about someone - especially when you're all flung together in an enclosed space as those people are for three weeks - and being vindictive. All of the campmates complained about one person or another during their time in there. It's what PEOPLE DO. WE ALL do it. However nice someone is. They're human beings. Not ruddy robots. In fact, that's what people do on here all the time. Except a lot of what is said on here is actually quite nasty (ie it IS bitchy); which is quite amusing too. Pot. Kettle. Black. comes to mind. ![]() All said and done, it's a flippin' game showentertainiment. It's not brain surgery. ![]() I've enjoyed this year because everyone has been nice; there has been no real backstabbing (obviously some people have entirely wiped their memories clean of previous years if they thought that ANY of what was said in there this year was 'bitchy' or backstabbing!) and everyone has just got on with things. |

Charlie was equally as good in the challenges. Ashley received the first phone call over people who had children, on the pretence her mum couldn't watch her... Charlie stood up for all the females, Ashley spoke only for herself. |

Ashley belittled Helen over the towels in front of the whole camp, she humiliated Rosemary when a little word in her ear would have sufficed.....there was nothing humorous about either of those incidents.
. And as for Rosemary huge mistake .Well Done Ashley for pointing out that her bloody meaty hands had just dived into the fruit and stop it in its tracks before more harm was one Both people made a mistake , Ashley pointed it out .End of story .I didnt hear her bitch about it for hours or go on and on about it .She said it , then it was over . |

I think Ashley did amazingly well as an outsider, let's face it most of the others knew who each other was, Ashley didn't have a clue, it shows a certain kind of strength, where others would have cracked, she listened to people and got to know them all, every single one of them without ever mentioning a kid

I felt so sorry for Rosemary, she was devastated that she had done such a thing and Ashley had let us and the camp know. This is the girl who said Eric has no filter, which can only mean she knows exactly what she is saying and it's affects. It's obvious that her looks, figure and smile have blinded some people, she had a bit of a nasty competitive streak. Ashley wanted to win so much, and that is what let her down in the end. |
