I think Rosemary even admitted she was wrong and should have been called out on it
Yes she did, but saying it in front of everyone, there are kinder ways of telling someone or stopping them, (I found it a bit amusing, they are stuck in the jungle, cooking on an open fire, bugs and flies everywhere, eating god know what. Rosemary's hand would have been the least of my worries) and I think it was Linda who noticed first, but Ashley dealt the blow.

Rosemary was firmly planted at the cooking pot .I doubt very much that had Ashley gone over and asked to have a quiet word that Rosemary would have quietly gone with her .Ashley had to stop contamination there and then , Rosemary was carrying on with the cooking and using her unwashed hands on fresh veg and fruit .I know if I was there I would have done what Ashley did and called Rosemary on it .Linda was a mouse , she would never have said it anyway .

I think Linda could see the situation for what it was, there's very little hygiene in the jungle, offering to get Rosemary some water for her hands would have been a far kinder thing to do, anyway where do they get their water from? where do they wash up? I know in the real world not washing her hands is a big no no, but in the jungle!!!! I'm sure Rosemary isn't the first person to not follow stringent hygiene rules that apply in the comfort of our own kitchens.

Ashley saw it as a chance to humiliate her, I doubt she would have noticed if Linda hadn't mentioned it.

You see what you want to see , if you want to see bad in people you will find it . I dont see it as bad , I see it as the sensible option /But suit yourself .

I think Ashley did amazingly well as an outsider, let's face it most of the others knew who each other was, Ashley didn't have a clue, it shows a certain kind of strength, where others would have cracked, she listened to people and got to know them all, every single one of them without ever mentioning a kid
That's because she hasn't got one. I hope that if Ashley had got a child that she would have missed them, talked about them occasionally, mentioned their name, wanted to talk to them on the phone and, yes, shed a little tear on one occasion.

David didn't, or if he did it wasn't shown, and he has a young child, . Anyway I don't think that Charlie can be blamed for either missing her daughter madly or the editing of the show. I just find it interesting that there is so much focus on Charlie being a mother when others in there also had children, it just seemed to be the angle on which they defined her character and, I found that a bit odd.

Even in the little say 'something nice about the finalists' VTs Charlie was called the 'worlds greatest mother' by Hugo. Leaving aside the fact that his own mother might want words with him about that , it's strange that that was one of the only things they could say about her after all they'd been through.

Also the introducing of Kiki before the end was unusual, although I doubt it affected the vote that much. She was wearing a mic too- where any of the other relatives? I don't think so. Like I said, I don't blame Charlie at all, but at the same time yeah, I do think that the producers ramped up the 'great mother' part of her story. Perhaps in part to cover their own mistakes, but it did help Charlie nevertheless.

Ashley was never bitchy, had time for everyone, took on every challenge to the best of her ability, was funny and entertaining, didn't constantly moan about missing relatives/outside luxuries. She just got on and did it. Charlie bitched about Helen in the BT then was nicey nicey to her face (except on one occasion). She brought up Kiki almost every time she opened her mouth. Up until the last four she was a bit like wallpaper, just there and didn't do much where as we could see Ashley's personality and warmth shine through even when she herself wasn't doing a lot.
Well said

Ah, so the truth is out! People claim Ashley was more entertaining, but secretly that's a load of bull and people like her mainly because she's hot.
Of course her being hot is the reason why people like her and why I am pleased she didn't win.

Ashley did not bellitte Helen at all .Ashely asked where her towel was and who had taken it . Simply that , her own towel , her right
And as for Rosemary huge mistake .Well Done Ashley for pointing out that her bloody meaty hands had just dived into the fruit and stop it in its tracks before more harm was one
Both people made a mistake , Ashley pointed it out .End of story .I didnt hear her bitch about it for hours or go on and on about it .She said it , then it was over .
Well said, also the cross-contamination Rosemary could have caused could possibly made them all ill, Ashley would have been crazy not to have pointed the mistake out.

Ashley was always smiling and up for a laugh.

Charlie just moped around with a sour face moaning about missing Kiki.

That's why people say Ashley was more fun.

She was genuinely funny and even though she didn't become queen of the jungle ... she's still the winner. Charlie's fanbase will not increase since her win - exactly the same number of people who were aware of her before - are aware of her now. Ashley on the other hand - I doubt anyone knew of her before - but they do now.

It is a shame though that David Haye didn't harp on about his kid - maybe it would have been a more equal final with him up against Charlie.

It may of helped but as he's a man it wouldn't have had the same effect.

Ve'y ve'y sexist.

True! Being apparently the only father in the world doesn't have the same strength as being the only mother in the world.

Who did the survey to support that imo sweeping statement YouGov.

Ashley ...is funny and fabulous and lovely .
Couldn't have put it better myself.

Just being beautiful doesn't guarantee being liked, but Ashley also had a sunny disposition, loads of charisma and was eloquently expressive in the bush telegraph.

Your post stated that people like her because she is hot. Is that not a generalisation.

Charlie was dull for 2 of the 3 weeks and Ashley was good every week. It is simple.
Ever heard of editing?

Its funny how people use 'editing' as a way of justifying Charlie's boring stint in the jungle and yet Eric is never given the same courtesy.
