He's done it 6 or 7 times actually, usually deletes the tweets an hour later.

Probably, i don't read his twitter, don't see the issue either way. I'd personally respond to a lot.

James should hurry up and grow the thick skin he is going to need when he becomes 'famous' in the Industry he has chosen.

He was a little too quick to 'fly off the handle' at some DS Members also. I'm not saying he should lay down and get walked all over, but perhaps stop getting in to Twitter fights with anybody who has a 'dig at him'.

Block and ignore such rubbish. It will do him more good than harm. Only my opinion of course

Oh dear, it looks like Mr Boyle has hit a nerve somewhere

James took on DS and lost, what makes him think he can take on someone like Boyle

at least Jahmene made his point and didnt go down to the gutter level

James Arthur could do with printing you post, magnifying it 1000 times & framing it on his bedroom wall.

Sound advice indeed.

James has already remarked he would take Boyle out if he ever met him

I think he was right calling certain people saddo's on DS.
And also right to reply to Boyle in kind. He is a human and if he's going to act like this when's he's off the x-factor why not when he's on too. Jahmene handled it better in that he managed to make Boyle look a fool, where as James had insults against insults and Boyle is gonna have better insults. But who cares, James is not in the show because he's a genius comedian. I prefer him acting like this than playing a sympathy act or acting like a robot.

Why is frankie Boyle starting arguments with x factor acts? Has he really sunk that low?

I agree, this thread's full of them.

To reply to him in kind would require a personality and a sense of humour, something which feeling the need to reply at all shows he lacks.

He made some lame attempt at an unintentionally ironic joke about Frankie (father of two)'s sex life then gave in didn't he? The only person that came out of that looking like a fool was the self-confessed virgin himself.

By not taking something not meant personally personally?

An Adolf Hitler tribute account has over 100k followers, does that mean he is doing good? Twitter followers mean absolutely **** all.

The pope has nearly 200k followers & has never made a single tweet. People would follow anything, the cat that ran onto the pitch during Spurs vs Liverpool has 70k. Chris brown has made 6 tweets and has 11m followers. Beyonce has 4 tweets and 8m followers. Getting the hint yet?

Having twitter followers doesn't mean you are relevant nor funny, it usually means they've recognised your name and followed for the sake of it, like most people who have twitter.

It wasn't intended as genuine proof, comedy is subjective, that isn't necessary.

Chris Brown has tweeted a lot more than 6 times, he just deleted everything when he left twitter but has now returned.

Again no one but his critics is attacking anyone. he's making jokes about them.”

Sorry but that argument has no logic at all. When someone shoots at an animal at a hunt, is the target the animal or the others in the hunt? Clue - it's not the latter.

Boyle's brand of 'humour' relies on baiting and bullying. This means he needs someone to target that baiting on and someone to target the results of that baiting at.

To say that Jordan and her son (as much as I dislike Jordan) weren't the target is to completely miss the point. They were the target, and he targetted them to get a reaction from Jordan which he duly got. This is how he gets 1.1m followers. Not because 1.1m people like what he does, but because people like to see a car crash happen, especially if there is no-one involved with them is in the crash.

That has to be the most random and dissimilar choice of analogy I've ever read, and considering where we're posting, that's some feat. Laughing at a joke made about someone, isn't the same as laughing at them. The laugh comes from the fact that he's said it.

No it doesn't, the laugh comes before the reaction.

It's not how he gets thousands to see hm weekly though, his joke are. The reaction's from his jokes there don't come till months after when some easily offended third party books tickets to a show they know will do just that.

For the finalists I think the only thing to do with Frankie Boyle is to ignore him no matter how difficult that may be when you're on the end of an attack. Otherwise he's just getting the attention he so clearly craves.

Craves so much, he's retiring from stand up this month.

Hardly! Why would James be ruined just because a desperate character like Boyle slags him off a bit?

As least James has the guts t have a go back, which considering their respective current experience in the entertainment industry is quite good.

It'll take more than Frankie Boyle to ruin James Arthur.
