Hardly! Why would James be ruined just because a desperate character like Boyle slags him off a bit?

As least James has the guts t have a go back, which considering their respective current experience in the entertainment industry is quite good.

It'll take more than Frankie Boyle to ruin James Arthur.
But not to rile him into the most unconvincing threat of violence.

That has to be the most random and dissimilar choice of analogy I've ever read, and considering where we're posting, that's some feat. Laughing at a joke made about someone, isn't the same as laughing at them. The laugh comes from the fact that he's said it.

No it doesn't, the laugh comes before the reaction.

It's not how he gets thousands to see hm weekly though, his joke are. The reaction's from his jokes there don't come till months after when some easily offended third party books tickets to a show they know will do just that.
it's clear that you have rarely been on the end of any kind of non physical bullying. When someone is using you as bait for other people to react to, that is bullying, and you are the target. That is what Boyle specialises in.

James has shown a lot of restraint throughout this show IMO.....suppressing his real feelings and opinions in order to maximise his potential appeal....you can spot him forcing himself to be polite or react positively to things that I imagine he wouldn't normally give a s**t about....eg Louis' opinion of him or reacting gratefully to any amount of endorsements from pop acts or celebrities who I imagine he has no real time for (just guessing but that's how he looks to me)......These reactions seem more like his probable true self to me but it's a shame that he has let his guard down to be dragged into the gutter by provocative rent-a-gob talentless scum like Boyle.

I can see what you mean. James definitely seems like the kind of lad to speak his mind and whilst kudos to him for standing up for himself; he shouldn't have given Frankie the satisfaction of getting him riled up.

Boyle's turned his attention to the pope on twitter now. Hoping he next goes for the Muslim world in the hope that the reaction actually would be violent #moderndayBernardManning.

The fact that there are idiots on here who think you can "win" at twitter, sums up how stupid and pathetic people really are.

Anyone who has suggested that wants to take a good long hard look at themselves.

The joke is the bait in comedy, not it's subject and it is the fish (the audience) not the bait that is the target in that analogy.

In what way is he comparable to Bernard Manning?

An outspoken Catholic man tweets the pope about priests abusing little kids shock.

Does what Frankie Boyle do on Twitter amount to trolling I wonder?

Kinda funny how celebs engage in these war of word things on Twitter. Is it just a way for them to vent or pass the time? Or is it a premeditated attempt to gain attention? I dunno, but I do know it can be funny sometimes.

James should hurry up and grow the thick skin he is going to need when he becomes 'famous' in the Industry he has chosen.

He was a little too quick to 'fly off the handle' at some DS Members also. I'm not saying he should lay down and get walked all over, but perhaps stop getting in to Twitter fights with anybody who has a 'dig at him'.

Block and ignore such rubbish. It will do him more good than harm. Only my opinion of course
I agree James should just block it off. As the saying goes, you should never argue with an idiot, they only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I absolutely detest Frankie Boyl- is a disgusting specimen & thinks he is funny mocking disabled ppl like Katie Price's son. He has zero credibility, and as much as I don't like James (and wished he could spell!!!) I would back him against Frankie any day.
My sentiments too.
If only James hadn't made that typo.
But is "jizz" an actual word?
