Surely Lisa's time is well up? She does the same moves and pulls the same hideously gurning faces week after week. The judges often say to celebs things like " you are tall / short, and this dance doesn't suit you" but never say "you are big etc etc " to her, why not? She makes no secret of her size ( well she couldn't really, could she? )
She is consistently overmarked and I think it is patronising to her to keep her in because she is energised and fun - it's a dance competition ( at least in part ) and her steps and timing are sometimes woeful. Lisa must go

Queen Lisa will get to the final

She is the most fun to watch and I love her and Robin's partnership.

Hopefully Louis to leave next week

Why? Because you don't like her. Clearly there are many, myself included, who are enjoying her "hideously gurning faces". She was told last week that the rumba didn't suit her so she has received that criticism. Yes she is "fun" and that's why the public vote for her but she has danced better than all those who have gone out so far too. Why just single her out and not Michael and Nicky who are not as good either?

I don't see any jays in my garden, are you especially privileged? And Lisa is a protected species. The lesser spotted fattee.

Almost all of the negative posts regarding Lisa these days are about the judges' apparent overmarking of her, rather than anything actually about her. And because of this, people think it's okay to insult her - take in one thread, someone called her 'galumphing elephant' or words to that effect. I'm sure the poster'd love to be called that.

I am finding the insulting Lisa on this board very nasty indeed. I don't like nastiness and have said this before but clearly some on here enjoy it.

About her - she is a poor dancer and to detract from this she engages in gurning, shimmying and rolling her eyes, none of which are endearing. She is far to fat to be able to dance properly or gracefully. Yes, Michael and Nicky are poor also, but at least they try to do the dances and not regurgitate the same peurile quasi fun moves week after week. She is a one trick pony and that trick has expired

In your opinion, not mine nor that of the judges, nor that of a lot of the general public.
P.S. Lots of fat people can dance both properly and gracefully.

Well for what its worth I don't rate her as a dancer or performer. I'm heartily sick of her "high energy" performances, which to be honest, wasn't even on show last night, she was by far the worst dancer, herself and Robin were dire and yet this was not reflected in her marks. But to clarify, I don't like the judges for making her the teachers pet and I quite frankly don't like her "performances" either. Hope she's out tonight.

People insult Lisa on this board because they are worried she might get to the final Every insulting post makes me vote more for Lisa.

Lisa is probably one of the most disliked contestants on here for a while, but the reasons for disliking her just aren't valid. To say that she does the 'same old thing every week' is complete nonsense, unless Cha-Chas and Viennese Waltzes and Quicksteps and Rumbas and Tangos and Charlestons are suddenly the same dance. Michael's Latin has pretty much consisted of him wiggling his hips awkwardly whilst Natalie dances around him.

But she's obviously fairly well-liked those who don't watch like vultures, i.e some of the people on this forum. After all, even Auntie Beeb admitted that the show is an entertainment show first, dancing show second.

Let me get this straight - she was worse than Michael who couldn't even move half of his body in time to the music and also her professional dancer partner Robin was 'dire' too, was he?

How the judges can be over critical of some celebs and not see Lisa' s faults in her routine because it was entertaining. Last night's was a shocker. Michael's was equally awful but he had to take the criticism. I am not a Michael fan but I did feel sorry for him last night. Nicky too had to take a lot of criticism while Lisa's mistakes and faults were 'missed' . Karen Hardy is a well respected judge and teacher in her day job unlike our two choreographers and ex ballet dancer and there is Len who occassionally shows that he has some technical expertise. Karen commented on Lisa's mistakes as always although even she emphasised the entertainment aspect of the routine. She expected high scores for Nicky last night. She said his flicks and posture were good. I look forward to hearing how she deals with that one on Tues given what the judges said.

A resounding Yes to all your questions. It was a horrendous performance and did not deserve the marks given by the judges.Lisa has not improved one iota since her first dance.

I fear Lisa is heading for the final. If she wins this I don't think I will ever watch Strictly again. I don't mind my favourite being criticised or voted off if deserved but if someone gets to the final who has faults and mistakes that are ignored or made light of I will be furious. Yes it is an entertainment show but it is also supposed to be a dance show.

She doesn't need extra votes she has the judges on her side.

Ain't that the truth. Shameful display of favouritism by the judges, especially Craig.

Lisa will be in the final because the judges want her there

Her blatent over-marking was even more obvious last night in a quickstep riddled with timing issues and bad footwork

Once again, all of the judges turned a blind eye and gave her great comments and scores

and NO, I dont hate Lisa at all - she is fun and she is giving it her all BUT the judges are favouring her (yes, its not her fault that the judges are doing that) but its clear to me that she is wanted in the final and they judges will do whatever they can to get her there

She was boarding on terrible last night in her quickstep and the more she is heaped with praise and her mistakes NOT pointed out the better she will think she is

She hasnt improved AT ALL since her first dance, her technical side is still non existent and still she is bigged up by the judges and overmarked, week after week - its getting tiresome

Must be Robin's fault. Robin managed to fit some side-by-side stuff again in the quickstep. He looks more like a west-end backing dancer than a ballroom one.

I have several issues with Lisa, however my main one is that she believes that she is an excellent dancer. I cant believe that someone who is awful like her is going to end up winning, and its all because the judges have no balls. No one mentions her weight, her gurning etc. She really does believe that she is excellent......its sad.....

Lisa starts in panto at The Kings Theatre in Portsmouth on 12th December so I think she expected to be out of the competition before then.

I wonder what she will do if she gets through next weekend cause Saturdays are the most popular days for panto and, as she has a leading role, I cant see the producers being very happy with her not being there.

Perhaps it will be best all round if she goes this Saturday.

Certainly will be! She has made no improvement, Robin looks totally underwhelmed by her and her antics. The sooner she gets to Panto the better. Surely the judges must start marking her fairly otherwise they are insulting the concept of the programme and the remaining dancers.

I predict she'll be gone by Christmas.
