HP Touchpad no longer can use BBC iPlayer?

I have been using an HP Touchpad with the BBC iPlayer extensively for more than a year, just using the inbuilt browser. It worked reliably and even played HD "catch-up" programmes well.

For a couple of days I now get redirected to a page telling me my device is not able to support BBC iPlayer!

Has anybody found a solution to this problem? I have tried to inform the BBC about this but I am not sure it went to the correct area.

Fred,

I too have a Touchpad, I guess the BBC are no longer supporting WebOS. Your best bet would be to install Andriod on your device, it creates a dual boot environment so can still access WebOS (which IMHO is a much better OS than Android.
