Its been an awful year terrible acts low standards, low viewing figures

Even last night felt like you were watching acts in week 1 who were fodder and would go later in the series

Then you realised it was the semi final

Yes. It's been horrific this year. How the judges can sit there each week and praise this bunch of no-hopers... I guess they don't have an option, they can hardly slag off the people they're left with.

Yes, I will be glad when it's over, put me out of my misery LOL!

After Rylan went last week I was determined not to watch the actual show, just tune in on Sunday.

But hubby is decorating and I was at a loose end as to what to do so I watched it.

How on earth could all of them totally ruin each and every song they sang is beyond me.....to be honest the only ones I thought sounded not too bad were Union J and I've surprised myself saying that.

I've resigned myself to watching until the bitter end. Bit like Mastermind.........I've started, so I'll finish

Not really but I am looking forward to the end if threads about how crap X factor is, why it is down in the ratings, conspiracy theores and people at a genuine loss as to what do when they have nothing to really whine about. This board will be a peaceful place.

( I highly doubt however that what I have said will happen as this place will turn into a feast if vultures picking at carrion for their enjoyment and any reason to put the boot in).

in 9 years, this year has been one of the worst for me, some of them have talent yes, but I don't think any of them have the x factor and that included Rylan, i guess it's down to the individual but that normally happens when you don't see any of them having the X

Yeah, I will be quite glad actually. Usually it's my favourite show on TV and I anticipate each Saturday to see the show but this year I just can barely be bothered! Really I'm only watching it for the 'tradition' and fundamentally there's nothing else on!

It's been a bad year.. when the 'joke' act is topping the favourite contestant poll on DS at final 5 you know it's an awful year.

I am certainly going to miss seeing hundreds of people on here getting angry at Christopher making it through every week.

The acts I liked best are gone so I won't be sorry to see the end of XF this year.

I think it's been a pretty poor year that could well end fittingly with the crowning of Christopher as the XF winner.

X Factor's had a shocker this year, both here and in the US. Both series to forget, wonder what they have planned for next year.
