I still dont understand the shock at Charlie winning
I always felt she would win from day one, nice pleasant articulate woman, in a very big show, Eastenders fans well known for supporting their stars in awards shows etc.
She was always the one to beat |

More surprise than shock.....we knew it would be close, but all the polls I saw put Ashley ahead.

She didn't do much and I think if Kiki wasn't introduced she wouldn't of made the top 3

Not shock, more dissatisfaction on my part
![]() She's a nice enough woman, but can't help but feel that all she did was moan about Helen and talk about her daughter. Her winning just put a dampener on a series I had really enjoyed. Ashley would have been a much better winner in my eyes, as would David, Hugo and a few others. |

She is nice enough lady, but all she mainly did was lie down, moan about things a little and talk about her kid towards the end to give her that push to the final. Really, she was just a younger version of Linda. |

I dont understand the shock. To be honest the constant pushing of Ashley on the show was a bit much towards the end it was like she was almost all they could talk about. Ashley is a great girl but I always thought she wasnt winning material.
Charlie gets overlooked, not sure why, I think she is a well deserved winner, who got through her own journey in there. |

No matter who wins , there's allways some that aren't happy. but seeing Charlie in a nice(rather than evil on EE) mother would have tugged at heart strings and who could deny kiki to be princess
result has happened, GET OVER IT, it who wins $$$ wise that matters |

You are a funny bloke. You posted this just a week ago. Clearly you didn't always think Charlie would win
http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showt...143&highlight= http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...5&postcount=13 They ruled out Ashley to win, not Charlie?

ITV made Kiki part of the show - which ensured Charlie would win.
Charlie was nice enough, but not as nice as Colin or even Linda. Plus she wasn't very entertaining. If David had won, or Eric, nobody would have been surprised. |

They generally seemed certain that David would win. Certainly Ashley and Charlie were. But they didn't read the public's minds. They thought that the handsome, charismatic alpha male was a shoo-in, but the public like their heroes and heroines a bit unsure of themselves and vulnerable.

Lucy Benjamin and Sid Owen didn't win so I don't think this EE vote exists.
