Yes LM have introduced their own music show twice actually as well as present the highlights for NBC children in need. And yes have been nominated for several awards as well.

Selecting their personal favourite songs on a music show isn't that much of a deal, so many other singers have done the same. :yawn:

IMO the truth is noone can tell how good someone will do after the show. look at the shocks at amelia getting a number 2. bet we'd never thought that before when she was on the show.

They (Misha/LM/even Steps) have been given the opportunity to do so. By managers/music channels execs etc. Who are aware of the success they have achieved this year, thus far!!! What's a major achievement for you then?..achieving a No 1 or 2 and maybe be the headline act during a major tour happening at that time????

I always knew she would have success, but I thought she would be a rock chick and produce songs like Pink's. YBMJ isn't the particular type of song I would expect from her, and the song itself is not quite strong imo, plus she didn't get a lot of promotion and radio support, that's why people didn't expect it to do well.

This, I didn't expect the direction she's gone in with her music and I didn't like You Bring Me Joy

The point I was trying to make was hosting a 'top 100 songs that are your personal favourites' is not a big deal, if that's her highest achievement than it's hardly a 'success'.

The new one is more rocky but I am not convinced it will do as well as YBMJ

I didn't say It is her highest achievement....its an achievement nonethe less, considering not everybody gets that opportunity....It was her Top 20 fave songs btw!!!

Who would have thought that this time last year, she was called a 'bully' by Louise, many fms on here, and other forums, resulting in her eviction from the show in 4th place....to her now recording songs, going to awards parties and presenting her own music show amongst many other 'assignments' she is/will be involved in!! Success comes to those who wait after all....and its Misha's Time Right now!!!!

Not that her being a bully means she can't be successful as a singer. I'm sure there are many singers who have been bullies, doesn't mean their songs aren't good and they aren't popular. The thing about singers is that their songs don't sell because of the artists personality, they sell because people like to listen to them. On the X Factor it's a lot about the personality as well, because we're watching their journey and we don't want to see someone who isn't a nice person win.

That's your opinion mind.....her fans/potential buyers of her music begged to differ and that what they did when they brought her music!!! Winning on 'personality' alone would get you far....apparently Matt hasn't done well and LM 'apparently' are flopping for some reason!!! Well if that's the case, thank goodness she DIDN'T win!!!

I bought her music so don't be so quick to decide I'm hating on her because I don't like her. Facts are facts though and she was a bully, she admitted to it, pretending it didn't happen doesn't make you a better fan.

But when fans/buyers buy her music, they aren't homing in on the fact that she WAS a bully....its what she is doing now....producing good music and putting on great shows for many who want to go and see her!!! I suppose I don't want to be bringing up the fact that she had a difficult past every few minutes and I know that Misha producing music has made her see the error of her ways and she has changed for the better.....good for her too.

That was kind of my point. That people buying music don't care about the artists past like voters on the X Factor do. The X Factor is about personality as well because we're watching these people on a journey and people generally want to see someone nice fulfill their dreams.
