I dont know his name but hes the one who never gets a line to sing and 'plays' the guitar, but yesterday in their second song he 'sang' the first line and wow its the worst ive ever heard anyone trying to sing on this show and he only had 1 line to sing. Even his group member beside him looked at him thinking it was crap.

How on earth did he even get into this group?
No wonder he gets no lines, I dont even see the point of him.

There really is no accounting for taste., I don't know what she wants him to do with the them - but I doubt it would be what she wanted. Just a little curly haired sop. Looks quite gormless by all accounts.

George just dosent fit in with the rest of the band, he tries to make himself stand out, when he should be trying to blend and certainly shouldnt be allowed to be anything other than a backing singer.

That's what I thought. Not incredible or anything but certainly not bad.

One thing I think he adds to the band is a bit of facial variety when they're all stood together. I find it hard to tell the other three from one other tbh. A bit like the spare 2 (the 2 that aren't blond, hair-mop or terrible mimer) in 1D whose names and faces I find hard to remember or to distinguish from each other.

This. He sounds fine - certainly as good, if not better than many boyband members. Judging by the post, it looks like the OP had a particular axe to grind, and this finally gave him some ammunition.

JJ hasn't sang a single line on his own all competition- they should at least give him a couple of bits like George!

I love Union J, but pretty must entirely because of Jaymi who is by far the best vocalist in the whole series. I don't think any of the other 3 have really had a look in vocal wise.

Yes thats exactly it. Its an old age rivalry me and him have had for many years now. Ive waited and waited for many a year to get my own back on him and finally i found it, so i came on here and stated he doesnt know how to sing whatsoever as clearly heard on last nights show by all those who dont fancy him. But yep ur right, it was just me and my grinding axe, he really does have an angelic voice, u got me. I wonder why he only ever gets 1 line with that brilliant voice of his, hmmm mystery...

I agree, he looks so odd in the band. They were okay as a 3, but because District 3 were a 3 he was added.

Waste of time - they hear what they want to hear.

They think he's cute, so it only stands to reason he must be able to sing to. And even if by some miracle they admit he doesn't sing so good, they don't care.

It is more of a 'who is cute and cool show' to them than a talent one.

Just watched their performances on Youtube, tbh I don't think Jaymi's voice was that good, Josh sounded the best to me. I never thought George was a good singer, I don't know why they gave him solo lines when JJ still hasn't gotten any.

edit: Also I don't understand the "but George is cute" comments either, he looks the ugliest in the group to me.

for me Jaymi and Josh are too bland, yes they sing good and so on but George has interesting tone to his voice, he is recognizable.

PS. yes, he looks awful on live shows because their stylists are very "talented" lol. but look at him in their VTs , in his audition or just in photos when he is not mutilated by make-up artists. They made Ella look like a 50 year old and fatter than in real life. So yeah I guess it's difficult to see why many girls find him cute.
