I was SO upset when I heard she was leaving, I was amazed at myself. I just think she's so important to Ste, and to the whole history of Brendan's time on the show, even if I wanted her to get her own storylines away from them.

I still think she left a massive gap when she went. Glad they brought the kids back though. Ste seems more like Ste with them around, at least.

Ahh new part

I'm hoping they might tempt ASD back with this Billy story. It'll give Kieron something really meaty to do when Emmett leaves.

Didn't ASD basically confirm she'd left of her own accord ????because I remember thinking how funny it was ES had changed it to make it look like she got rid of her.

Getting rid of her because of Stendan wouldn't make sense it would make for more drama!?why would they make it easy for a Stendan reunion, they wouldn't I think maybe orginally she was meant to be involved but I'm guessing ASD was sick of just being part of someone else's storyline.

Hello new part! *somewhere, Sarah is screaming with joy*

Speaking of the kids, am I the only one who thinks that they've probably brought them back for Pa?

I just asked them for a new part a few minutes ago, they either work really fast, or really, really slowly.

Totally agree - it'd be a great story for Ste, but even better with Amy in the mix. Something tells me they won't get her back again though. She already took a long break with the post-natal depression story, then was due to leave Xmas 2010 and got tempted back. Unless ASD doesn't mind coming back occasionally as a recurring character, or for a one-off?

Hi

Wow just read about Emmett Possibly leaving in January. I've been trying to prepare myself for when we get comfirmation, but seeing that artical even though it doesn't really confirm anything officially, has left me gutted. Never thought it would hit me as hard as it has, dreading the offical announcement now

Brendan brought me back to HO, and can honestly say when Emmett leaves i don't think i will be watching anymore..

I like the sound of Billy. If the actor is good I hope they revisit this stuff, so Ste has plenty of drama for when Brendan goes.

and C&S I know what you mean, I feel the same about Amy. Half the time I wished for her to piss off, but I didn't mean literally

I never thought of that before, but could well be, yeah. There's obviously going to be much more element of risk if there are young children around. Brendan will be going frantic trying to protect them.

I think they'll fit into the story, but I dont see them actually doing anything. I think for some reason the kids will stay with Cheryl and when Bren/Ste walk through the door Brendan will go absolutely mental that Cheryl let him be around the kids and that's how Ste finds out about Pa.

I think they'll allud to it but considering it's a 6.30 show- I think Brendan's determination to protect them may lead to the revelation. Even though it sounds too good to be true Ste and the kids moving in could make sense.

Maybe one day Ste gets held up at the deli so Cheryl's looking after the kids but goes to the shops and Brendan arrives back to find Pa looking after the kids then goes mad and that's when it all comes out

I got a bit carried away there

I don't think he'll go as far as touch them/molest them, but he's definitely gonna threaten them at least. I'm already bracing myself for the inevitable "Steven's children are so pretty, they remind me of you when you were little..." scene *vomits*

Well I'm glad that we're meant to be confused by all this.

Nothing has made so little sense in a long time, even Ste marrying Doug made more sense than this

It's interesting all the articles mention the audience being confused by Brendan's actions-it gives me hope this will be played better than we think.
