I could live with either exit for Brendan. a spectacular and heart wrenching death would befit the character, but a bowing out also would leave it open should Emmett ever wish to return.

As much as it will break my heart. I need Brendan to die. I wouldn't believe he'd ever leave Ste and being in prison would always make me hope he'd return.
Plus, I want Emmett to not have the comfort of returning. He is worth more than that and deserves to get out there. Having a back up can have an impact sometimes I think!

Yeah I agree as sad as his death will be, I don't want to keep hoping he'll return.
Anyway its not as if we won't see Emmett on tv again, he's going to have an amazing career

Actually not really, a while back when we started the topic of the video I was tryin to sleep and it just came to me and I giggled loads like a total ninny and thought tonight I'd share. It was like destiny except I doubt I'll get to see it except in my head. When are they released generally from the last 2 years it's been on?
We were all in such a crap mood this morning when the news broke, including me, and now I just weirdly feel happy for Emmett and appreciative that he stayed in Hollyoaks for over 2 years and I got to watch him.I just hope he gets the work that he deserves to get, the acting industry is hard so I just hope he gets noticed because he's such an amazing actor and he needs to move on to bigger and better things

I'm not being biased but I think that Emmett is the best ever actor that has been in a soap and he deserves every success that he gets

Awesome,ta Hollie. I feel like there might not be ste and pa scenes cause in keebro didn't Kieron say fintan is scary in the green room and not seamus,I could be reading too much into it though.

There has to be Pa/Ste scenes there just has to. I think Kieron didn't say that much seen as he'd be giving it away.

Completely agree. Hollyoaks doesn't get the recognition it deserves. If Emmett was in Eastenders/Corrie he'd literally be getting every award under the sun. Once he gets big film parts/bigger tv shows awards will be coming out his backside

Yeah I think Brendan has to die as I just hate the thought that he would leave Ste voluntarily. I do kinda worry that they will have him go on the run or something and leave Ste behind.

It's true though I used to watch Eastenders and corrie all the time. I now haven't watched it in about 6 months because it got so stupid and repetitive, yet they still win most of the awards. It's like seriously?!

Ha! I could actually see it but I don't get why they'd go there, that's unless they'd want to leave the door open for him, but for some reason I don't think Emmett would go back, even for a short stint.
I watch Eastenders still, I'm forever waiting for David Wicks to come back.
