Exactly. BK would have no qualms about doing it - he probably thinks it's a great way to introduce JP, to have him sleep with the show's most popular character, and to add more drama to the Stendan reunion.
Sometimes Hollyoaks try to mislead us, like with Alice Barlow pretending she was still filming, but I really don't think that's the case here.

In all fairness there's only two actors from each soap up and I doubt they could have both halves of the show ruining Stendan up.

Think about it Bonnie. Brendan in his mind is single, he's just messed everything up with Ste. He doesn't in a million years believe Ste is ever gonna talk to him again, let alone come and find him. So either mope about the rest of his life or do what they are leading us to believe hes gonna do. We all know he uses sex as some sort of blocking out his horrible life. So if it does stupidly happen thats just what it is. Brendan trying to forget Ste because he's well and truly messed with Ste's head this time.
Don't let this ruin Dublin, please. We've been looking forward to it for so long. JP is just a plot device we all know that Brendan and Ste are gonna be together till death do them part

Brendan also has the same clothes on when he's at the coach station & later on, on the bridge with Ste. I don't know if that means anything but wouldn't he change or something? We know JP and Brendan go for a pint first & that also all three of them were seen filming in a bar weren't they? I'm prepared for it to happen though & I'll just have to see JP as some meaningless random
