Yep. It's not something I want either but it's the least of his crimes. It's not even a crime. Ste's married, and he thinks moving away forever. Brendan thinks he'll never see him again. How long is he meant to stay celibate and does it matter? He's obviously trying to get on with things, as miserable as it is, even if it is self inflicted.

It wasn't a spoiler, it was magazine speculation. They wouldn't have they sleep together if Ste didn't walk in on it. There'd be no point. Especially as they return straight into Pa drama, the JP thing won't be hanging over them.
