Ashley's very good looking. I don't think she suits red lipstick though.

Comparing her to a dark type of beauty is pointless: it's not comparing like with like.
Oranges are not the only fruit. There are many delectable types. |

Didn't think Charlie was very good looking though...a bit too big for me.

Ashley got better looking as it went on, for me anyway...I am not a fan of lots of make up for one thing...but as it went on, she proved that a natural beauty will shine through either way.
Pre-show, it was all about Helen Flanagan but she was a huge disappointment for me...it is clear she needs make up to look halfway decent...and she spent a lot of time looking in that mirror, doing whatever it was with her lips but then spoils everything by putting a fag in her mouth...thus harming all of her looks! For me...Ashley ruled that camp by a long way... |

Ashley has a large jawline which does take away some of her good looks but makes her that bit different from others. She glows good health, skin, teeth and personality and all round lovliness.
Nicole and Ashley are opposites, both beauties, Nicole dark elegant beauty and Ashley blonde and lovely. |

I have read many people say here how great looking she was not to mention the whole thing about her looks on the show itself.
But when they did close up's she was nothing amazing certainty not the kind of girl who would haver you giving a double take at if she passed you on the street. Is her looks more emphasized by the fact she is a genuinely nice girl so that comes out. Helen look terrible in there, Charlie looked much nice in the raw. I'd even say Linda and Nadine (allowing for there ages) looked better than Helen. |

Yes but she's living the jungle all day with no makeup, a tiny mirror and bad food! I think she's a natural beauty, and I don't think she actually needs to wear makeup. I don't think her beauty is overrated at all. Of course her personality factors into that but she's a nice-lookin girl with a great sense of humour I thought.
Also sorry to be annoying but it's *are* her looks overrated not is... You also made a grammatical error in the first line of your post. It should read ‘Yes, but she’s living IN the jungle....' You also spelt the word ‘looking’ without a ‘g’ on the end. I apologise in advance for seeming to be pedantic. |

Ashley is not a classic beauty (whatever that is) but because she is always smiling and pleasant, people see her as attractive. IMO because of her bright nature, she is far more good-looking than any so-called beauty.
Smiles convey positive energy. Smiles cost nothing and yet they are a great beauty aid. |

I would also like to say I don't think the lack of make up made much difference I have looked up pictures of her in make up ect and I still don't think that from a purely physical aspect she is not amazing looking.
Though physical looks are not important I was just wondering why they seemed to try and spend so much time focusing on her looks to the point here the Dec stuff became a storyline and all the males who appears on Get Me Out Of Here Now fancied her. |

I like the slight quirkiness of her beauty, it makes her less plastic and more real IMO. And I love her jawline! She's not Gail Tilsley for sure......
![]() Sometimes quirky looks are better than a classic beauty with little personality. Ashley is a lovely girl, inside and out. Also does the camera have anything to do with it ? I was at a fete which Nigel Havers was the celeb opening the day, his sharp profile was so obvious but it helps his looks on TV. I also saw an American actress when visiting London and her sharp features took me aback as she looked so different on TV. |

Not at all, a few liked David for obvious reasons, a few liked Rosemary, Hugo and Charlie. Noone mentioned Ashley to me but then I don't know that many people who watch it.

I think her looks are overrated. Next to Nicole she would look ordinary.

Haha, who would have thought a contestant lost or won by her jawline?. Who noticed her jawline? Not me nor the millions of voters who prefer to be entertained. It is not Miss World, indeed we had the sense to get rid of that crap years ago where women were judged on appearance, this thread is a step backwards

If you read and understood correctly, you need'nt have written this post, her jawline has been mentioned but only in the context that it enhanced her looks, making her quirky, making her different and just a part of her overall lovlieness.
Shame you didn't recognise what was being said.
