Why are her people talking down her performance tonight and not expecting her album to chart well? she has over 2million followers on twitter and have many fans who buy into her 'just being ture to myself' rubbish.

Her album is nowhere to be seen on iTunes....apparently it's not even in the top 300. This close to the release date, that is a disaster, and with all the bad press she is getting lately, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't do well. However, I also wouldn't be surprised if she managed to scrape a top 10 album but I don't think #1 is going to happen for her at all.

Most successful albums would be close to the top of the iTunes chart on pre-orders alone, especially so close to the release, yet hers is not anywhere near the top 40.

Also as pointed out by someone else, she's become so desperate that she's asking her fans to pre-order her album then send her a screenshot of it.....:-/

You cannot be in the top 300 if you haven't released the album. Her album isn't released hence it's not in the top 10 billion yet.

Erm no....albums frequently rise up the charts, 1D recently had a #1 album on iTunes one whole month before the album was released.

This is because they expect it not to do well, and are lowering expectations in case it bombs.

If she successfully mimes tonight then it will get good sales.

As soon as the album is available on iTunes (either for pre-order or purchase) it would be shown on the iTunes chart (if it's at least in the top 1500 that is)

Singles are often sold in the album chart if they include extra features, but they also sell on the itunes singles chart also.

No album that isn't released yet is in the itunes album chart, i challenge you to find one

The album's #125 and #153 on iTunes. She won't flop, performing on X Factor will help album sales, not hurt them!

Pre Orders only come into effect once it's released because you can cancel a pre order at anytime, and that is open to manipulation.

EPs and albums often climb the charts before release. It's a measure of seeing how well the album will do. Right now Tulisa is not heading for a successful solo album, though this may change after her carefully timed X Factor performance.

Well they clearly haven't purchased Sight Of You on iTunes as it stands at 32, if they had she would be dead cert for a number one. It's looking to peak in the top 20 by the look of things.

+ Sight Of You isn't really representative of the whole album. It's probably one of the stronger tracks on a very dire album, a mess. :sleep:

No it WILL show on the iTunes album chart whether it's a pre-order or not. If an album as a pre-order has been staying in the top 40 for a month, that means everyday there are a certain amount of people pre-ordering it. Once it gets released, all the pre-orders will go through and be counted so the album will suddenly jump into top 5 because of all the pre-orders. Yes a pre-order can be canceled at anytime, if an album has lost quite a lot pre-orders it wouldn't be as high as top 5 once it's released (maybe a top40). But the point I'm trying to make is it DOES show on the chart.

Exactly. She should be at least in the top 50 by now. The album leading single Sight Of You has stalled way outside the top 20. She needs to put on an amazing performance, and after her horrendous BGT appearance....

She did this for Live It Up "show me a screenshot of the order confirmation page with the date showing and I'll follow you"....I'm not really surprised she's wheeled out that trick again to try and get sales, I've never seen other artists do that to be honest. Really desperate.
