Yesss, I'd love to see him hosting XtraFactor! He did a great job on the little we saw last night and I'm sure his Daybreak presenting next week will be very impressive also.

Xfactor is doing badly enough without making it worse. It is exactly that type of thinking that has spoilt the show.

The show needs to produce some proper talent again, not the untalented, fame hungry wannabees youngsters are promoting.

Also if he and Caroline were work it together I'd say she'd be all for it as she's always shown she likes and has respect for Rylan.

I've liked Olly and Caroline, they have a flirtatious chemistry, but the novelty's starting to wear off this year, and in particular if I hear that's riiiiight one more time I will do something very, very wrong.

Rylan could try out for Xtra Factor, and they could bring Konnie back. That would be my dream team.

I see Rylan as a very talented, likeable and fun guy. Seeing as the public make the decisions every week, you only have yourself to blame.

I didn't like his singing and was very frustrated with the inconsistency from the judges. However I think he would make a good presenter

as much as he's a lovely guy.. no i dont think xtra factor would flourish with him. I also think probably Ashely(from Im a Celeb/Pussycat Dolls) and someone should do it in America.

Rubbish. It is people like Rylan cheapening the show. He may be likeable in some ways, I'm not disputing that - but likeable does not a star make.

The world is full of likeable people, we should be looking for someone more unique, and at the very least they should be able to sing, well.

Rylan is just about as far away from unique as you can get.

If Rylan hosted Xtra Factor then that is the day I would stop watching it.

Au contraire, Rylan is the only one we will still remember. The others will be quietly dropped after the tour but Rylan will still be on telly every week, ultimately with his own show.

Rylan wouldn't need to sing on Xtra Factor. Caroline doesn't. I think him unique and he wouldn't cheapen the show at all. I believe he'd be compassionate and sweet with those voted off facing an interview.

If he would make such a good tv presenter (good enough for his own show) then why on all his reality tv show applications has he not been spotted before now? He was on that Jordan reality show wasn't he? Says it all really. He doesn't give a jot about music. He just wants to be famous. Nothing wrong with that but let's not confuse them or mistake desperation for talent.

More to the point why does he deserve or even need his own show? He doesn't. I agree most of this years acts are forgettable but Rylan is no different. He will be performing at Butlins and the holiday camps and student nights before you know it.

I can remember people saying exactly the same about a BB contestant I couldn't stand (Faye) - about what a great personality she had, how she would be a good presenter, how she would get her own show etc. Remind me folks, Faye who!
