I didnt come on this forum during last year's x factor much, but i've seen so many people saying that Kelly was the worst judge, etc.

What made her so bad?

I loved her during the audition process, but lost interest in her when she lost interest in the show!

Oh i couldn't stand her. Alexandra Burke was just as bad well a lot worse the week she didn't show up though. Nicole is a revelation in comparison.

I liked her too, but was a casual viewer for last year's so thought I'd missed something.

Same reason people don't like Alexandra Burke. I'm glad Kelly left, I don't think she was expecting the show to be how it was for her...

I liked her until she started licking Gary's arse and was mean to Auntie Louis.

"Donchoo say 'swagger' again, muthaf'kaa!"

No need for that ...

Alexandra was the single handily most annoying judge to have ever sat in that seat by a country mile. Kelly had her good points, Alexandra had none.

Oh bleurgh....At least Alex was honest and not lying through her teeth like Gary and Louis. And considering she took the job just a few hours before the show started she did a pretty good job. I'd like to see all these people slagging her down manage to handle going live before millions of people as a judge on the show that made you. Even Leona was scared to do auditions which are edited so it must have been terrifying for AB.

And anyway OK.COM >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Can only speak for myself, but I thought she was great for the auditions - bubbly and energetic.
But then came the live shows and the terrible 1st show twist, where I think getting rid of Amelia was the worst decision made by a mentor. Gradually it just seemed like the only act of hers that she genuinely understood and was excited to work with was Misha. She seemed to just dismiss the other 3 girls she had to work with and put all her eggs in one Misha-shaped basket.
There were reports of her flying back to the US numerous times leaving her acts high-and-dry throughout the week. Plus the rather cringy time she phoned in to the show when she was 'ill' with the least believable 'phoning into work sick' voice I've ever heard.

In the end, I think her efforts as a mentor reflected in the results. Despite having the strongest category (in my opinion), with 3 of them reaching the top 5 (thanks partly to the public bringing Amelia back), she managed to have no acts in the final.

Initially she seemed funny and exciting, but soon ran out of phrases to say. Like a pull-cord doll with only 8 sayings.

The ageism she and Gary displayed towards Louis was awful.

There was that business of her not turning in one week, a terrible cold/throat problem, unable to travel (after whizzing back to the States), but somehow well enough to call Xtra Factor live-on-air, at god knows what time it must have been in the US.

I also think her unconditional support for the controversial Misha B had an effect.

This completely but expect to be called xenophobic / racist for not licking her arse

I liked her, but in hindsight admit that especially towards the end, she just didn't look like her heart was in it.

I think maybe the show wasn't what she expected, and I also got the feeling she didn't gel particularly well with the other judges (especially Tulisa and to a lesser extent Louis).

As well, she really did pin a lot of her hopes on Misha, and I think she genuinely felt put out about what Tulisa and Louis said on the live show - perhaps so much that she just wanted to throw in the towel.

We are 5-9 hours behind you. X factor comes on at 12 in the afternoon on the west coast and if she was on the east, three in the afternoon. Hardly unreasonable hours to call.

Why would I be trolling? I created the board because as a casual viewer last year, I didn't really see anything wrong with her as a judge/mentor, but on the polls on here she has been slated as the worst judge ever and I wondered why...

still find it bit strange that somebody would do that. Just wondering whether you will create a similar thread for the ever so popular Tulisa

I dont really understand this thread...why bring this up now. Lots of people did like Kelly, she was the favourite judge during the auditions but she lost popularity during the lives - bit difficult for her as she got slated a bit for not being in the country in the week and for not giving equal attention to all the girls. I dont think Tulisa was any better but I guess she already had some fanbase here and seemed a bit more involved in the show.

And why does Alexandra Burke need to even be mentioned - she was judge for one evening, her fans on here seem to need to bring her into completely different conversation and moan about her unfair treatment, it really is tiresome. Shes nothing like Kelly, Kelly could be funny and had positive feedback as well as critcism.
