James And The Giant Echo Chamber
At what point does the use of sound technology cross the line and become cheating? Discuss

It was all very desperate last night. The huge backing track made it difficult to know when Chris was singing and when he was receiving some sound engineering 'help'. The OTT praise from the judges with Tulisa hoping he would be announced as the Winner and Gary calling it the performance of the series all seemed to have been rehearsed beforehand with no attempt made to let the viewing audience actually decide for themselves that what they were hearing may not have been that good without all the hidden extras.

I agree, it all seemed quite desperate and scripted last night. No wonder the viewing figures are nose-diving. The backing tracks were overpowering also. I thought the only two that managed to cut through the whooshing backing tracks were Jahmene and Christopher.
