What is wrong with Alice (on EE)?
She has again and again found her Dad out on his dodgy acts, his criminality, his immorality, his temper, his unpleasantness to all and sundry and she has threatened to leave and have nothing to do with him on each occasion only to recant each time and live with him again.

Why does she do this I feel sorry for her mum who she seems to have abandoned who was the decent one who brought her up on her own but she never bothers with her now she's met her bad boy Dad.

Why does Alice keep going back to Derek?

But they only met a few months ago, most of her life she has been raised by her mother. Having such a co-dependency when their relationship is fairly new, with Alice as an adult, is strange and unrealistic.

well she's been without a dad all her life. i dont blame her for giving him chances. as i said even when they do bad things you always end up forgiving them

Haha I like it. But before Derek was killed, he revealed the truth to Carol who called the police . As a result, Alice goes on the run as a alien fugitive and hides out in the most secret place in the whole wide world: the allotment shed .

In terms of having a bully for a dad, I can relate too. And I personally will not forgive and forget.
